Maybe you were just excited?
I had a bad day, too. I found out that I'll have to take an exam in German in order to get a positive grade for the year. And I'm good in German! I'm one of the best in my class, it's just that after the first test I continued to do [censored] for the rest of the year!I'm so mad at myself right now...
Oh and I probably fractured my arm.

Sorry to hear that, man, but better out than in, right?

@GD : If he was just excited, it doesn't explain why would his sister and father would had joined him. I don't think you can be THAT excited to see your brother/son to have his diploma.

Hope you get better soon. At least you didn't do that on stage, 'cause after that, it would had become your worst week ever. :o

I didn't even go to my high school graduation. As much fun as sitting for 4 hours to wait for my name to be called seems, it really wasn't. I certainly wouldn't want to have attempted all that with a stomach virus. Talk about bad timing.

Due to a very unlikely series of events, myself and two team mates actually had our diplomas handed to us by Bill Nye The Science Guy. He just seemed preoccupied the entire time he was there.

well that stinks. reminds me of some of the stories where my family went to some sea food restaurant and found out the sea food was expired and we did not figure it out until a couple hours after we ate it.

Ouch, that sucks guy, sorry. But I think I can top that: eating bad ham and having to have syrup of ipecac to get it out of my system lest I get even sicker. Have you ever vomited so much you lost count over a span of several hours, non-stop? Yah, that's no fun.

I sense a contest.

I was spending a few weeks in Nicaragua with a poor family. Every day, we had the same meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- rice and beans. Well, after about two weeks of this, my body was just getting used to this. That's when they tried to serve me some crazy olive...thing. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but I think it was an olive fermented for about a year. In their water and alcohol.

6 weeks of super-diarrhea. It didn't stop even after I got back to the States.

Oddly enough, I've only thrown up once or twice in my life. Bad stuff, but I've gotten off pretty easy as far as vomiting goes.
