You see alot of funny things in the paper. Some so funny you gotta let everyone know. Like one time I found in the comic section in the Stars And Stripes. There was a letter to some woman about a 16 year old girl. SHe said that she's normal but she's addicted to porn. She talked to a counsler and she says she's just expressing herself. I should my friend who sat next to me and he started to laugh. See funny crap in the paper.

My favorite was a Dear Abby letter asking for advice on how to dicipline a child for trying to bite the neighbor's dog's ear off multiple times. I hope I kept that one...

omg.

I guess thats one thing about USA I won't ever get used to. The way guns are handled in some places.

I have little faith in the common man and knowing that john doe and his wife can get a gun that easily would make me want to get a gun for self defence too.

Hence I prefer Europe. Granted I don't know what it's actually like living in the US, but it's messages like me this that amuse me and scare me at the same time.

It really should be easier to get your hands on a gun, but that's for a different thread.

Mostly scare, actually.

On the plus side, they'll all likely jam or backfire with that sort of trigger, :P

So, you enjoy the idea of the gun exploding in my hand when I attempt to fend off muggers? :?

or that didn't occur to you? :P

Short answer: Yes, ofcourse. We could say that it would be your own fault for laying your life in the hands of a commercial promotion.

Long answer: No

Rant:
If you're really that serious about getting a gun for self defence, get a 'decent', nothing fancy, just something that works. The threat of having a gun should be enough.

If you're really afraid, some pepperspray and selfdefence classes (I mean real ones not martial arts.)
End rant.

....Krav Maga. If it's good enough for Mossad, it's good enough for me.
