I feel sorry for you. Really, I do. If you haven't had your wisdom teeth removed yet, you haven't felt anything yet.

I've had 4 fillings. You can't escape the need eventually! And I've had to do the 3 dose thing. And it STILL didn't work like it was supposed to. It completely baffles my dentist, because I wince when he working, and he offers more of the stuff. And I decline because I know it won't work anyway.

*SIGH*

Happened to me nearly two weeks ago, had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, they had to fully knock me out due to all the pain of surgically removing the teeth...then it led to nothing but no eating for 2 days, pain in all of my teeth (still hurts after 2 weeks -_-) ..... ugh...please don't let me tell you everything

Ok the best way to insult a dentist is to tell him he is not a doctor, there now you can get back at them.

Just be sure to do it AFTER he's drilled on your face... yeah, just a suggestion... =^.^=

I didn't have that much trouble when I had my wisdom teeth out. A little nitrous and Novocaine, and I didn't have any significant pain thereafter. Soreness, sure, but not like shooting, burning pain. 'Course, I had mine out before they all impacted, which helps. ;)

But I've got great teeth, so I can't really sympathize with you. Never had braces, never had cavities.

Well, I've never even had braces, just a cavity or two. Still, gotta love all the nitrous they give -- that stuff was like candy to me.

Man, I love and hate the dentist. At the same time. Crazy, I know.

I hate him because he drills holes in my head, and I'm already paranoid about skin contact.

But I love him because I can always coax him into talking about his profession while he does his work, and it is awesome. Did you know that the topical anesthetic they use in dentists offices is Benzicance? Or that actuall novacane injections are beign phased out because of some hrrible, horrible alergic reactions?

When I got my wisdom teeth yanked out I had to get knocked out intraveniously. Before I went down though, I swear to god, the ceiling was moving

I still have my wisdom teeth by the way. In a jar.

Yeah, I remeber them having to stick an IV in me filled with a real potent type of anastetic...heck, they said I was so strong for only 1 bag, they had to give me 2 of them O_o

Lucky...they had to throw mine away due to all the muscle tissue and blood still stuck on there....I wish I had my wisdom teeth in a jar -_-
