I picked this up yesterday, and its proving to be a cure for the boredom one has with w/e bug I've picked up. Awesome game, and that corny Wii Wheel is freaking awesome. Makes driving games easier than they used to be w/o a wheel. Pleasant surprises all around.

That, and the Shell Cup is my favorite so far. Retro games FTW.

Anyone else have it? Gotten beaten by the hordes of Japanese players who got it before us?

Does it have purple-overalls Wario and N64 Rainbow Road?

Rainbow Road is in the Special Cup, but it's epic'ed out like you wouldn't believe. Wario has a map as well, and he's in the game as a heavy like usual, though his map is a pain in the arse on 150cc.

Last Kart I played was the N64, so the fact that the racers get harder the higher your CCs go messed me up. I think I took 3 blue shells in one race on 100cc already. 150cc, I think the CPUs haxx the game for the things.

But what's Wario wearing? His biker get-up or his purple overalls and yellow shirt and "W" cap? Also, I just have to try the new Rainbow Road. Finally, I think N64 had the best maps (even though I've only played the N64 and DS ones)

Regular yellow & purple duds I believe. Last time I saw his biker outfit was in Brawl.

And even in Brawl, he had that outfit. It's half of the alternates.

I still have to pick this game up. I like the Mario Kart series.

Worth every penny, imo. The wheel actually makes playing smoother, and you can refine steering near perfectly. Beaten 2 of the staff ghosts so far, tough as nails they are.

How come everytime I see something I should pre-order, I don't and then it turns out to be epic fun?

I'll get this soon enough. Right now I have a real car I have to get this weekend xD

:P This is the only game I've ever pre-ordered before. Technically, it's worth it, but the only downside is you're out X amount of dollars before the game even releases.

Assuming you remember you ever had a pre-order, which some people forget.

It's a good game, though I'm regretting not forking out the dough I put into my Wii for a PS3 instead. GTA:IV, gawdammit...

Word to the wise, don't automatically run to 150cc racing. The CPUs are actually much more aggressive than on 50cc, and the further back in the rankings they are, the better items they receive. I'm not sure if you can turn it off, but I wouldn't want to. Keeps you on your toes, and prevents the guy in first place from getting a 100ft lead and then getting star power or boosts.

Epic online rankings, too!

It's a great game and the wheel really was a good idea. I enjoy the addition of bikes and tricks, although the CPUs cheat too much. I mean, come on! 4 blue shells, 2 lightning bolts and a POW block hit me in just ONE lap!
150CC mirror is evil, pure evil...*shudders*
