Update as of 3/17/08. Sorry that I didn't get a chance to revamp the chapters like I wanted to- I think I'll wait until the story's finished before editing, to see if I want to add any different minor plot twists/characterizations/blah diddy blah.

It's probably my fault for not checking my own page views, but how many readers do I have at the moment?

Sorry no update this weekend guys. School project (and strife) has left me somewhat exhausted. Also, I've run into my first creative block for a good time now. Speaking of which-

I'm fairly sure that the Morphist will end at part 5. Afterwards, it will stay on the boards for 30 days (plenty of time for you to recommend friends and such) before being deleted. This is because I want to have this thing published, and having the rough draft floating around on the internet somewhere doesn't really help on achieving the goal of both publishing it and selling it so that people will want to publish me again. *yay*

Do not worry about the late updates. Things do tend to get a little more busy this time of year. Good luck with the publishing!

I would like to make an additional note of apology. The Morphist got shot down on my list of priorities last week due to school problems (grades dropping :x ) and, due to my strict school schedule, I was incapable of writing that much over the weekend.

And now, it seems I'm going to be late. However, I swear unless anything too horrible happens, New Morphist will be here Tuesday.

As you can expect, something horrible happened, and it was called "Writer's block."

Normally the Morphist flows out about a page every few minutes, but I'm getting one or two sentences at a time in that stead. I'm just in a bit of a plot snag right now, as well as some family trauma I'm not really in the mood for detailing on.

Sounds rough, I know what it is like to have writer's block. I hope everything ok family wise.

Soon the last chapter begins. SIX UPDATES LEFT unless i decide to write an epilogue than its SEVEN UPDATES LEFT!!!1eleven11one1!

Let's see. Assuming we're changing between 1 and 2 updates a week, this'll be done in 4-5 weeks.

And then thirty days after that it'll be BAHLEETED OMGOMGOMG we all goan die.

I was tinkering between the idea of actually letting Sigmund get captured or just letting him go, but I finally opted to let him go unharmed. Him getting captured the first time he does anything substantial in the context of the novel just seemed cruel for such an awesome character. Maybe later... :twisted:

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Morphist is on a hiatus until MAY 23RD. This is due to upcoming finals week and projects which do not allow me to give that much time and concentration to a side hobby.

I will hope to have an update by the exact date above, all depending on what our teachers assign on the last few days.

Alright, it took nearly three months, but the story is (finally) updated. Reason for the huge delay is partly because, after finals week was over, I realized that I had grown somewhat distant with my characters and desperately needed to reacquaint myself, namely by re-reading the Morphist. Add that to driver's education, babysitting little cousin's, helping other cousins move into houses in Kentucky, visiting my friend at Fort Lackland, et cetera, and I have had a bunch of roadblocks on my hands.

Good thing is I should be able to start updating regularly again. Expect another update by 7.19.08
