The scene starts in a clearing in the forest.
The heroes are in sleeping bags around a fire.

A mage sits on a log by the fire and waits for them to wake.

Epelion wakes and looks around in surprise, as he thought they surely would be dead.

"Huh? Where.... am I?"He said, leaping to his feet.

"Crap! where'd the dragon go?" he said, then noticed the mage lying in wait.

"Who are you?" he said, deciding that checking on the others would have to wait until after he found out if he should cut up this man beforehand.

"Now there's a fine way to thank someone for your life."

The mage said.

"And as for my name, it is none of your concern, doing this was merely a favor for a friend." The mage sat up from his log and looked at him in a way that was distincly magical. "Amazing to see so complicated a curse on one so young."

He started to walk away. Then he turned and spoke.
"I don't know who you are, and I frankly don't care, but, it seems you are involved in the Mask's affairs, and that is something that rarely turns out well, so be prepared." With that last comment, the mage walked off and faded away into the darkness.

"That...was cryptic." he said after the mage left, them busied himself making sure his party members -- mainly his sister -- were safe, well and most importantly alive.

"Oh, I nearly forgot." said the mage. His head popping out of apparently nothing right in front of Epelion.

"I was supposed to give you this."

He tossed a black metal ball about the size of a golfball in front of Epelion.

He also noticed that Epelion was checking his comrades.

"Don't worry, they are all healed and in perfect condition."

He pulled his head back into the void and was gone.

Reah:
I awake to see Epelion eyeing a strange black metal ball. "Hey Ep, what's that ball thing?" Then looking around I notice we aren't where I remember being "Wait, where are we?"

"I wouldn't know the answer to either of those questions, sis." Epelion said, stooping to pick up the ball in his hand, stowing it in a pouch on his belt, and looking at the scenery about them.

Rick awakened and layed on the ground for a moment, trying to remember where he was. He obviously couldn't, so he sat up and saw that Reah and Epelion had awakened, and Epelion had just stuffed something into his belt, but stayed quiet so he could actually look around himself. After a few moments, he stood up and looked in Epelion's direction,"Hey Keidran, any idea where we are?"

(Epelion is going to be pelted with alot of 'Where are we?'s.

"We've worked together to bring down that dragon long enough for you to know my name, Rick. Or would you rather I refer to you as 'Human?' what about 'Templar?'. As for where we are, I don't know that in the slightest, but it seems that either the dragon died while we were out or it got away."

Rick started to make a sarcastic tone,"I am dreadfully sorry, my wonderful Epelion."The he searched around his pack,"And apparently I lost my map too. Crap."He threw the pack over his shoulder and it hit the ground with a loud thump. He turned around, seeing if he could find out where he was by memory of the area.

"Hey, you know me better than that. I don't expect special treatment, Rick, and that goes both ways: Condescending or royal treatment, I don't want either. Besides, we've got other things to do than gripe at each other."

"Really? I never knew, I thought ALL we did was gripe at each other, Epelion."He said obviously sarcastic,"Wanna go walk around the forest? If there's a town nearby it could really help out where the hell we are."

"Sure, if we can find out the right direction. Last thing we need is to walk forty miles to find out that a town was right over the next hill in the opposite direction."

The bushes rustled and out of them came a large Feral wolf Keidran.
It was yelping and ran right past them, ignoring the human in its rush to escape.

Racing out right behind it came a Wyvern, an unintelligent cousin to the dragon. It stopped chasing the wolf in favor of a larger meal.

Percieving Reah as the weakest of the group, it rushed toward her and tried to bite her.

Epelion was in the way, brandishing his sword in a vicious uppercut aimed to go through the area just past the skull.
