Deep underground so far down, not even chaos and destruction and leak its way down, a rebel military base is formed. Tonius had awakened from his 6 hour sleep. He does his usual routine: get up, get in the showers, get out, eat, brush his teeth, get in uniform, and get to work. He went to the meeting room of all the rebel leaders; one from each country that still stands. Tonius looked around, he saw worried faces. He began check up on the countries, “how many men do we have to launch our attack.” He asked, hoping for at least a billion. One of the country governors stood up and announced, “In total we have nine hundred million, but not enough to get to the Improbability device. The 1337’s have the temple sealed up.”

"Yes, sir. I will tell them to be more careful next time." said Brianan quietly. Her commanding officer glared at her briefly, before deciding an argument with the blind girl would't make a difference. Plus, he'd seen her practising with the rapier at her side and knew he'd come off bad.
"Just see to it the next prisoner they bring me is left alone." he replied shortly. She smiled and walked out, neatly sidestepping an armoured guard on his way to report. Passing the message on, she retired to her room to await further orders.

Chris slowly rose to his feet, looked around, and then promptly fell back down. The shock and confusion was almost to much.

Why is the sky red? Where is the sun? Where am I? Who am- wait, I'm Chris... but why do I have a gun?

Chris, yet again, got to his feet. First, he looked at his clothes. He enjoyed a moment of security, happy to find that he was in fact wearing clothes, and decided that yes, they were his. He looked around, hoping to find that he was in some sort of simulator, then pitched himself.

Damn... so much for dreaming.

He stepped forward, sighed, and walked towards the only thing he recognized. An entrance to a cave, or a mine, or a bomb-shelter, he didn't care what. He stopped at the metal latch, looked around for any kind of writing or signs, and began to bang on the door with a rock.
(Dunno who's cave it is, it could be anyones, so one of you could be in it, or open it, or lock it, just something)

One of them men opened up a box window on the door, only showing his eyes. The man who answered the door stared blankly at chris. "Name, Rank, and cereal?" the man only asked that question hoping for an answer.

Oh crap... I chose a military... um... cave shelter thing?

Chris stood for a second, staring blankly. He half-heartedly produced a pathetic lie.
"John Smith, private, cereal 21968."
He stood still, rehearsing the outcome in his mind. It involved door slamming, or getting shot, or both.
I think I'm going to hate it here.

"well mr. smith, It would appear that you are a survivor out side. and apperently you gave me a serial number not a cereal box full of food." the man became dissapointed, anouther man came in. "yea, we have been out in this post for 2 days and we had not have any breakfast and it is before 10:30. what are we supposed to eat? numbers?" they both looked at each other and laughed. "its allright mr. smith, since you are part of the military we will let you come in." they opend the door, and the guard dogs looked at Chris and layed their indicading that chris is not a 1337 nor a madness.

"Ha, cereal. Good one." Chris faked a chuckle and stepped inside.

"I hear ya, I haven't eaten in awhile myself. Hey, I'm kinda drowsy, and my memory is a bit fuzzy, what exactly did I survive?"

Maybe I should have been a bit more subtle.
Chris had his and in his pocket, fiddling with his knife, though it was doubtful he could escape should they see past his lies.

"well for starters, a gaint apocolyptic explosion that turned all of the world into madness, however that was 200 years ago. and next continuesly bombing out the entire area from both sides, and not being food for mandess. It is very rare to see a survivor at this time of hour coming from the surface. usually survivors come from the underground roadways and the roadways are usually ceiled off from intruding madness/1337." the man explained. "maybe we shoudl close the doors so mandess/1337 dont get in."

"Right... where are we now?"
Chris was pretty worried now, and even more confused. He looked at the door, and then towards the men. By now Chris was close to a metal breakdown, and he slumped against the wall.

"The rebel base, one of the many bases that are connected underground. this place is where probiblity has it final stand." the man explained. "I shoudl probibly give you a quick tour of the place so that you dont get lost." he walked down the hallway, the bedrock wall turned into metal pipes and fences.

Chris followed, no longer thinking, just walking. He wished that he had said that he was not in the military, and needed directions to the nearest hotel. Now he was sure that he was stuck there, underground, in a world he did not understand.

Mark just walk along and sang to himself, "Trailer for sale or rent, rooms to let, fifty cents, No phone, no pool, no pets, I ain't got no cigarettes, ah but. Two hours of pushing broom buys an eight by twelve fourbit room, I'm a man of means by no means, King of the Road. Third box car midnight train, destination Bangor, Maine, Old worn out suit and shoes, I don't pay no union dues, I smoke Old stogies I have found, short, but not too big around, I'm a man of means by no means, King of the Road. I know every engineer on every train, All of the children and all of their names. And every handout in every town And ev'ry lock that ain't locked when no one's around I sing..." (Artist: Miller Roger, Song: King Of The Road).
