I figure every story should have this, so I'll go ahead and see if I can start a trend. This is where I'll be stating times of updates (Even though I'm scared of schedules), and also for questions, comments, and rude remarks. Put all spoilers in quotable size 1 text.

-I will do my best to update at least twice a week, but I may only update once a week if I run into blocks made of negative creativity and/or homework. However, I will always try to update once a week except in the following cases-

1. Family emergencies
2. Midterm/Finals week
3. Holidays
4. School projects important to my education, like "Make a map of Azerbaijan in the year a bazillion B.C. so that finding a reference map is utterly impossible, using only a cardboard slab and your toenails. Use only the big toe for extra credit."

In these cases I will not update at all, more than likely.

ON PROOFREADING: The first 30-40 pages or so of the Morphist have been successfully proofread. This was due to an immense amount of school projects that were piled on shortly before spring break, so I did not get the whole thing done.

Possible Q&A:

Q: How many chapters will be in the Morphist?

A: Five, each one with five parts. I haven't decided if I want to do an epilogue, but that is a possibility.

Q: How long is the Morphist?

It's not completed at the time of this writing, but currently it's about 66,000 words. This is just an estimate, but the finished work will be somewhere between 80,000 to 90,000. That's pretty small- The Shining, by Stephen King, averages around 200,000 words by my (very) rough calculations, so it's about half that.

Q: Can you start writing this at school to make more updates faster?

A: GPA>hobby. Also, I always write on my desktop due to the fact that it's basically my comfort zone, and besides, constantly e-mailing myself new manuscripts does not win the fun award for the year.

Q: Can you make one of the characters gay/bi/Buddhist/a Martian? Or: Why isn't this character gay/bi/Buddhist/a Martian? They should be. Or: Is this character gay/bi/Buddhist/a Martian?

A: No, no, no, and hell no. I have nothing against gay or bi people and I will not personally chew you out or ask twenty dozen of my friends to send hate mail to you for whatever else you people do, I think Buddha looks rather dapper with the massive earlobes, and, eh, some of my best friends are Martians. Heh. Gotta love those Martians. Point of this is- I will not be a political, religious, etc. postboard for anyone, yourself included, unless I make the decision preferably and probably unprompted.

Q: What can I or can't I pm you about or put on this thread?

A: Whining about how updates have stopped (they have not at the time of this writing) for seemingly no reason can be done openly in the rudest way you want, death threats included. Whining about how I'm too x,y, or z with my writing, can be done publicly here as well- You can go ahead and put comments on the story (like "omgwtf u suxorz IT'S A LION! ownz j00 lol") right on the story if you want- but I'd prefer if you did them here. PM me if you want a question answered that would require reference to spoilers. Oh yeah, on a serious note about nonconstructive inflammatory content, esif the most entertaining thing you can think of to do with your time is to insult a sixteen-year-old's creative writing, you should probably find some way to entertain yourself, as it's obvious that you're either neurotic or simply bored out of your mind. Both of which I completely understand, as I'm often a mix of the two. Heck, write something yourself- half the reason I write is because I'm pissed off about what other people aren't writing.

Q: Hey, you didn't get the new update done on time!

A: Sorry D:! Sometimes things don't get done quite at the speed I thought they would. If it looks like an update might not be delayed, I'll do everything I can to get you informed about that as soon as I can.

I'd kinda want it to be a concentrated Q&A, I think a sub-board would be better, but I don't think phpbb supports that.

What I'm trying to say is, it'll be really hard to manage a FAQ and update thread when approximately eight bajillion other people are trying to update their own FAQ threads in the exact same thread. If everyone had their own thread to work with, like a sign-up/OOC thread for a roleplay, it'd work much better, I think.

Do people actually ask you those questions or are you just answering them ahead of time? Because they are all common sense or could be answered by *zomg* reading the story. If it's the former I want names so I can beat these people to death with my "spikey" clue bat.

New update as of 2/16/08.

Family emergency is the reason there is no update today- My grandpa had some fairly risky surgery done the other day, so I had no chance to work on the Morphist even though I had school off. Go figure. :\ anyways, I'm technically not supposed to be on my computer atm due to some nasty stomach/colon stuff I seem to have come down with, so update time will be moved to Thursday.

Also wanted to note- if possible, updates will always be early, so poke around and see if it's here Wednesday anyway. Until then, see ya.

Updated as of 2/24/08. Here's how it's gonna roll from here on out-

Hiatus lasts until 3/12/08. During the time between then and now I will likely be
1. Proofreading original manuscript
2. Training for Black Belt
3. Doing midterms

Once I get back, updates will continue to happen regularly. I'll try and write a little in the meantime if time is allowing, but it probably won't make the website.

By the way, what form of martial arts do practise?

Tae Kwon Do, with occasional mixed martial arts from here and there, which is how we learn ground fighting. Otherwise, it's fairly orthodox TKD. My gym has shrunk in size to the point where I'm the only non-black belt in the class anymore. To my credit, though, there's only five people in the gym, including myself. In perfectly descending rank (4th degree, 3rd degree, 2nd degree, 1st degree, and myself, high red. =\)

Once I get my black belt, I'll move to a mixed martial arts group which looks like immense fun, or see what else I can do (probably, if not that, do some self-study of Tae Kwon Do, but I'm probably not responsible enough to do that)

Update and question.

Wondering if there's anything that needs to be explained, characters that need more development, etc. etc. that I may have neglected in previous chapters. I've noticed I've been a bit partial to the Chimera to the point where I've even been neglecting the main character and Natasha (This is why you shouldn't have favorites, argh). A friend of mine agrees with me on this and I'm wondering if anyone else has some comments/concerns/complaints/rude remarks.

Update Info!

Okay, lack of info and previous chapter editing has NOT been due to lack of care- it's been due to lack of time. Between getting my black belt for Tae-Kwon-Do, grades descending so subtly that only my parents care (from a 90 to an 88 in three of my subjects), and thus I'm obligated to do a million things at once, leaving no time for hobbies.

The Morphist, as it stands, is currently somewhere in the vicinity of 100-110 pages, with paragraph breaks and chapter breaks. I'm through about thirty of those pages. I suspect most of my editing will be on chapter three, which may be heavily lengthened. However, this is a bit of a consistency issue, since it's already just about as big as chapters one and two combined. To solve this, I might separate it into two chapters in and of itself.

However, alot of the proofreading I have in mind would take such lengthy amounts of time that it would severely extend the already horrid lack of update time even further. I will attempt to get chapter four posted on Monday of next week, but that is a *very* optimistic forecast. Most likely, expect Tuesday/Weddnesday. Until then,
