Sniping

What in the world?

I currently am level 50 or so, (DragoonMagi is my gamertag), and have the Red Tiger camo for the Dragunov

150 Headshots were easy, too easy, and I have many more than 150.

Every other sniper: No special camo, except for the very first one, I have digital, and when I line up on a person, who is far away, not moving, breath control and all, and I pull the trigger, I miss, re-align, and miss again. This goes on forever, until the person I am shooting at notices the shots, and takes me out with a red-dot, or someone else does?

The Dragunov in the same position, I would have killed them, and everyone else they happen to be by.

It is really annoying, is the Dragunov better? Is the way I shoot aligned better with this sniper? Or am I smoking something?
Also, the R700 is the worst I have seen me shoot, and everyone seems to prefer it...

I love the r700 and the m21, i can kill easy with them blue tiger for both, only because i stopping using one to start the other. You just need to get used to single shot rifles, they act a bit differently

It's very odd, the Dragunov is like a single shot to me, one shot, one kill and all that, but the actual single shot ones miss like a semi-auto.

i liked the dragonov but the bolt actions are my favorite when using em i aim just a little off and can nail em with head shots.

The rifles on the console versions of this game are all...broken.

As are ACOG scopes.

The 1.3 patch for the PC already adressed this (and IW is already on 1.5), so it's only a matter of time before the console's get their fix.

Of course, if you were playing it on the PC in the first place you'd be set.

AC0G scopes are the most pointless thing i have ever seen. It hardly zooms, or zoomed, i haven't used it since before 1.4. They dont help accuracy, limit field of vision, and KILL sniper rifles' usefulness.

Put it on a Dragunov, or the M...something, and it's like the AC0G with a G3 or M...something else.

But it hurts their accuracy. And it's still better to use an m14 rifle under assault if you ask me.

iv got red tiger with all the snipers and iv never experienced any problems with what u are talking about patch 1 to patch 3 sniping was bugged but now its fine no problems.

i like the M21 also known as the m14 they are the same gun and share amo, the Dragunov is good also, and the first sniper is awesome to use also i get headshots like no tomorrow with it.

Actually the M21 is a different variant of the old m14. [No offense] To tell you the truth, i hate the dragonov and the 50 cal most days. It's not that it's a bad sniper, the dragonov is the best one in the game, and the 50.cal is a instant kill 90% of the time.

I've got red tiger for the R700[Fav.rifle], the M21 and the M40A3, w/ digital for my 50.cal. When i think about it i only have 14 kills with the dragonov because i refuse to use it. i find it cheap and too unstable for my tastes.

Then again i've noticed that if your good with bolt-actions than your not good with Semi's and vise-versa.
