Spectacular. Nothing terribly surprising here, but it's all worked out very very well. Natani's reaction is about to do one hundred-eighty, and she's going to become quite upset. Let's hope Zen interferes before her jealousy gets the better of her. She looks so alone in the final panel.
Good job redeeming yourself, Keith. An excellent recovery.

Ruh-roh! Droopy ears, never a good sign! Natani, rush out there and challenge Laura to a duel to-the-death over Keith! Then it will be an out-and-out brawl in a pit of mud, with both of you wearing only thongs! Or totally naked, if you prefer
Don't do this to me. Now I'm not going to be able to sleep or close my eyes without seeing that for days. Sure, I'll be happy, but there's only so much a guy can take. :P

I think that Natani's reaction, laughable as it is (thanks for playing our part in this Zen, it's made better for you trying to suppress a chortle with us), demonstrates why I think she's a good match for our Keith. She demonstrates a strength to match his, a capability to endure. Now, Laura showed the strength she has in her reserves in finally coming to find Keith. A forgiving person could say she was simply overwhelmed here. Natani has not needed to show (on camera anyway) the ability to leave everything behind and commit to a foolish errand of the heart. All projections indicate that time is coming, and I hope she'll fare well (but hey, I'm a fan).
It's also certain that now that Keith has bled off his anger, he and Laura are going to have a long, heart-wrenching discussion (that we probably won't see most of). It's time for him to admit he still has feelings for Laura. I see three probable options: Keith will seek to be with Laura again and rekindle his lost love, or there will be closure in their relationship with Laura telling Keith that she cares too much for him to take more of his life and wound his heart further (or something else, "I'm married," etc...), or Keith will admit there is someone else. I'm interested in seeing how that comes out, because the cliche is the last one, with Natani hearing Keith admit that he still cares for Laura and running off before she can hear that he loves another. And generally, Tom avoids going with the horrible cliches.
