OK, makes sense, I think. One last question, would there be a reason why one thread would get locked, and another would get deleted?

Well unless it was something really bad, every thread that gets deleted gets locked first.

According to the updated rules, (Forum-game) threads with 50+ pages are deleted immediately. At least that's what it looks like to me.

It's because forum games are constantly just spam - you can have a newbie get over 500 posts in a single day because they are doing nothing but these forums games where all they have to do is type "Apple" "Orange" "Ball" "Marble" "Floor" "Ground" "Grass" per post - normally doing something like that would be a reason to delete the posts - but in a game it's "ok". So after 50 pages of spam are made they are deleted- your post count doesnt go up (permanently) from games.
