I have notice that many use the pc version and some have the 360 version. I did not notice a topic for the 360 version so i created one. I use both versions for the 360 and pc but I mostly a console gamer. (I do realize the pc version is better but I prefer my 360.)
When I started to play the orange box set. I only was really interested in the team fortress 2 game to be honest. I seen half life one and two but i did not care for it in the beginning. I was content on TF2 as just worth the $60 price tag for the game. Now I did not play team fortress 1 so I got TF2 on a gamble that it would be a good game. Played a couple of hours of it and got hooked. I started to play Portal and then Half Life little by little. Eventually I got hooked into all three games and have not stop playing ever since. Got Orange box for the pc for christmas and play it from time to time but I mainly on my console. Is there anyone who plays TF2 for the 360?

That is really sad- the controls are a lot more accurate using the keyboard and mouse. I think my friend Shiden made that point when he learned how to play on the PC and realized how pathetic the 360 players were.

wow the redundancy of buying it for pc then suiting it so it is played on a 360 controller and then buying it for 360 is astonishing...
sage does bring up a good point i as well find being able to point exactly at what i am shooting rather than trying to guess with a controller much easier

Well, then again, some games are just so awesome they simply must be had twice.

I bought Oblivion for 360 and simply had to get it on PC so I could mod the living daylights out of it.

Of course... mods cause conflicts and it takes a while to sort out... and then the entire partition decides to quit working. I still have to take another weekend and set it up on my Vista partition.

But, this was actually the same reason I decided not to buy Orange Box for 360. I knew it'd be fun with the Xbox controller and my HDTV and surround sound (compared to the 19" monitor and headphones) but mods like the Cinematic Mod and Dystopia were just too good to pass up.

does this mean that 360 controllers work on PC without the console? I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere and I was looking at some today. Are they USB? If so I want one.

Yes there are usb 360 controllers that do work with the pc. You can also just buy the usb wifi controller adapter to use your wireless controller. You can get one at any gamestop, gamecrazy, eb game, or any mega store.
