indeed.

Here's the history of Telmar for those for you who want to read it.

The area that is now Telmar is on the very westernmost tip of Portugal, bordering Portugal and the Atlantic ocean. During one of England's many wars in the middle ages, a group of ships landed at the area which had been avoided by the Portugese because of superstitions. The English set up a colony there and used it to deal a serious blow to Portugal, which never reached the greatness it did in our universe. Large mineral deposits were found in the area and hidden by the colonists from the opressive British soldiers stationed there. in 1256 A.D., the colonists used secret agents and bought the entire chunk of the army stationed at Telmar. They then used this small, well trained army to build a fleet of ships for exploration and defence, since they were so small. The Telmarn navy gathered vast holdings in the new world and became an extremely prosperous nation. During WWI Telmar refused to pick a side and enjoyed a thriving arms trade until WWII. This time around, Telmar went with the Allies and provided great engineering support. Telmar remained pacifist during all following conflicts to the present day. Because of its prosperity, Telmar has had many immigrants and is essentially the U.S. condensed into a single city. The Telmarn armed forces remain to be a powerful political force, and no leader can be elected to a major office if he opposes them. The Inquisition was started in the 1950s after a string of gruesome murders that would be impossible for a normal human to commit. Ever since then, the rates of children born Tainted have gone up every year.

people from Telmar are called Telmarns, as you can guess.

Quite! Also, Arachnion, a bio on you people would be appreciated. You don't have to put in everything, but some of it would help. dX

Hmm, okay.

Sylvia Jones: An information thief, lives with Jonah in a warehouse in the eastside slums. Her full importance to the storyline is too important for further information to be disclosed here, including her powers. Tainted, 19.

Jonah: He lives with Sylvia and makes explosives in his free time, which he has a lot of. Human, 23.

Micheal & Gabriel: Not archangels, just two bumbling inquisition members. have the equivalent rank of "redshirt" and were assigned a mission they couldn't possibly screw up, which they did. Micheal is a body group, Gabriel is a Mind. Both are Human. 31 and 27, respectively. Currently deceased.

Edit:
Paul: the teenage tech-wizard that everyone knows exists. He sells the information Sylvia gives him. Not very important. 15, human.

q'estion, to see if I need to redo my character's bio.

So the entire population of the US moved into Telmar, or they just have equal populations?

Nah, the U.S exists in the exact same way it does in this universe. Telmar has about the same cultural makeup. It population as about that of New York city. You're fine.

A grenade went off a few yards away... and we're all fine?

A modern Frag grenade has a lethality radius of 5m distance and can fill you with metal shrapnel at up to 15m.

You may want to imply that they got a wee bit further, unless her 'power' is suppossed to be the ability to weaken explosives.

Yes, but if it's an incendiary device designed to melt anything it touches when it goes off, an explosion is not the expected result. I mean the kind of grenade that you arm and put down the barrel of artillery to melt it, not a frag. Jonah was trying to slow them down with a weapon that is only effective at extremely close ranges, not kill them.

Alright, the license classes are as follows:

S: the "license to kill" only given to a few government employees and some inquisition members. You can buy any number of weapons or explosives, and you can kill/injure/assault someone so long as you provide a good reason. no courses are required.

A: lets you buy lethal explosives in limited amounts. You can also buy any number of chemicals used for making explosives. You have to take a test every year on safety or have it revoked.

B: lets you carry concealed firearms, can buy nonlethal explosives, and also the materials to make explosives in limited amounts. You have to take a smaller test on safety once a year.

C: lets you carry concealed weapons.

What happened to this RP? Is it dead or something? I just want to make sure, cause I kinda like it. Don't want to get my hopes up if it's never gonna happen.

Well.... What now? I know I can't fix it this time. PM someone else so they can do something. I like this one quite a bit.

Or maybe I just like Nergal...
