I got a new computer for christmas and its awesome

but the keyboard, unfortunately, is screwy. i am required hold down a key for a couple seconds to type it in. the shift key does not work either. as you can tell, ive spent over 30 minutes typing this in. can someone please help

That has got to be pretty painful- so im sorry for having to cause you even more pain- but we may need more information. Like is it wireless, if it is, is it blue tooth? If it is did you put in the pass key correctly, if its not wireless what kind is it, is it USB? Etc etc... Did you check google first? Have you tried a different keyboard to see if it is the computer and not the keyboard?... all that kinda stuff! ^_^

Unless we recieve more info the only given solution I have is...buy a new keyboard.

Holding the shift key down for 8 seconds or pressing it 5 times in a row makes it turn on advanced language options. Is your keyboard a USB or a slot?

But if it's a problem with the computer and not the keyboard then that won't even work. No solution can be recommended without more info.

Money solves everything :D Unfortunately this is pretty much true with the exception of love.

According to polls Diamonds = Love and Diamonds cost money so Money = Diamonds = Love so Money = Love but diamonds cost a lot of money so really its a lot of money = love but just a simple amount of money doesnt equal love- because fake diamonds only give you fake love if your lucky and the love giver is stupid.

But Money only = Love if the Diamond Receiver enjoys Diamonds. Therefore, Money = Love is actually Happiness = Love, because money does not directly equal Happiness but is rather used in exchange for it. Happiness does not require Money, although it can help in certain situations whereas there can be no Love without Enjoyment.

you could use that crappy keyboard of yours or you can go into start>all-programs>accessories>accessability>on-screen-keyboard. It stinks but its better then nothing.
