This may sound stupid but i cant get an avatar for my profile. I'm kinda technologically challenged. Can any one help me?

1. Register for an account.
2. Find a safe-for-work picture up to 250x150 pixels to use as an avatar that is a png, jpg, or gif file.
3. Upload the picture to your Photobucket account.
4. Select the direct link option under the picture once it has loaded. (http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u268 ... owyAVA.jpg)
5. Go to Profile on the forum.
6. Place the link you copied in the Link to an off-site Avatar field at the bottom of the page.
7. Press submit.

Bit out of point, but your avy is HUGE. It skews my entire view of the page over so I have trouble reading posts. Mind shrinking it a notch?

Ive' found a new avy with Keith but I have the same problume that I had with the preveus one. Its HUGE and I'm not sure how to make it smaller. Can anyone help?

I use imageshack.us it can resize any image you want to any common format, i.e. Avatar size.
The link isn'y working so just tpye it in or something.

Right click the picture.
Save.
Upload to imageshack.us and resize
Use given url and your done.
Note: You can use a url to upload your picture instead of just uploading from your comp.

I cant even get past saving it. After that I need to "chose application" which only leads to dead ends and a file that does not work......I F#%&ING HATE MACS!!!

Actually now that i think about it. You should be able to upload your image to imageshack just by using the URL of the picture. Yeah you can, so just get the url of the picture resize it take the new url and put it in the avatar url thing and you should have it.
*To get the url of the picture right click it and goto properties.*
