Oh my...this comic has answered some questions, but at the same time brought up even more questions.

So now we know one who the "mysterious blue eyed" guy is and what part he played in all this. This also confirms that Euchre was human and did work for Trace. Also we now know that the templar on the Basitins Island really is. I wonder who the guy with the yello hair is behind the cat/seer girl (OH NO IS IT ERIC?! ).

One thing that got my head spinning was neutral was in the group (at least I think that is neutral)!!! Did Trace know the neutral was in the group? This makes me begin to think that Trace did whip his mind clean on purpose. Though part of me still doubts it. It seems that so many of the members of his group changed over time.

That and the the second to last picture of Trace (the sixth) panel is probably the most evil image of Trace I have ever seen.

Hey, just because I decided to follow one mysterious character in greater depth... :?

Anyway, hey look, it's our mysterious shopkeeper, who is the only character who sparks my interest enough to fight the internet and get onto the forums (well, except Keith, but we haven't seen him in a while). This just revealed something very important: The Master Spy, being in Trace's inner circle, should theoretically be able to greet Trace much more informally, but right from the beginning, he hides himself from Trace, which suggests that Trace either informed them about what he was going to do to himself and they knew what parts they had to play, or that there was a plot of some kind that the Master Spy was part of, against Trace. Me, I'm going with the first...I've never believed the self-induced amnesia theory before, but right now, it's got a bit more sway, I think.

I know someone else is going to say this and I'm going to be annoyed because it's so obvious, so I'll just say it now: "No wonder he can do all those disguises! He's Trace's Master Spy!"

That is not the Master Mage. That's Neutral, as seen in chapter 6. The Master Mage is seen only briefly in one or two panels of previous comics. He hasn't been introduced as a character yet, which is why his face is obscured. The ones who's faces are in shadows are characters whose faces haven't been seen yet.

So many questions finally answered. This does raise further questions -- if Euchre is cast as the Master Strategist, the timing on his placement in Flora's life is tight.

More than that -- this explains how Euchre knew him, and why they're working together. But if Euchre is the Master Strategist, then he too was concealing himself from Trace. There's another wheel to this thing that we're missing. Now I have to wonder what Randall (the Architect, assuming I remember his name right) is up to. Two of the three members of the inner circle we've met seem to be running against Trace's master plan, and Randall doesn't exude evil the way the obscured two (who we should have seen in the shadows a few times already) do. At least one of those last two seems intent on carrying Trace's plan (or a similar one) on. So which side has/will Randall choose?

So I guess the Templar weren't so bad until Trace came along. Way to go, Trace! :P

Anyone else notice the picture in the fifth panel? Blueprints of a Mana Tower, perhaps?

Hmm, so Trace went all psycho and paranoid from trying to raise his love from the dead? How noble, yet there is no proof that it actually works, unfortunately.

Tragic, definitely desperate; not necessarily noble . I could imagine screaming to the heavens over my hubby, or my children, but that wouldn't make me noble; just a desperate person who'd lost all her reasons for living.

Hm, thought: Why do you have to be avoiding someone to be against them?

If there was a plot to remove Trace (Like, say, a plan by Neutral), wouldn't coming to her / his / it's attention really bring a load of feth right onto you as well (Supposing you weren't supporting of Neutral)?

Anyways, Architect is an unknown as of this moment to my knowledge, as is Shopkeeper (Though I admit, this may be wrong). Euchre is seemingly pro-Trace (Or at the very least, not trying to get him killed), and the Seer seems to be an Agent for Neutral.

The last... we can't say anything for a lack of knowledge?

Now we know the full story about not only Trace going insane, but the ranks, titles, and abilities of the rest of the high ranking Templars.
