Actually I'm quite shocked there isn't already a thread on this one, or I might have just missed it. Anyway I think that the backrounds are much better in the new version but what I really like however was the changes made from the old comic that made it more consistent with the newer stuff (Traces sword and Flora's fur pattern.

there probably wasn't a thread yet simply because the second page hasn't been colored for that long yet ^^
Don't think many people noticed it was up untill you let us know
anyway ^^ I really like the way Tom is handling the coloring. Keeping his old style in characters but changing the backgrounds. Most webcomic artists just go back and redo it entirely and loose a bit of the original feel that way.
Forgot how cute Flora looked in that panel :) by far the cutest character i've ever seen :p

It's fun looking at the colored version, then flipping to the original, then back...just to see the little differences...

The colored version looks really good. I'm looking forward for the future colored pages of the beginning.

Most likely they will have subtle, most likely looked over modifications that will make it much better.
