What I want is for you to post scary pictures, videos, anything. Just felt like making this after watching this particular video which...holy crap...just makes you afraid to move.

Don't post trick videos that have things that pop up and scream loudly.
The video I posted is scary because of sound effects they play at the reply, and because its a little asian girl. Thats something you NEVER want to see in your mirror, and coupled with that sound effect...The most terrifying thing ever.

Post yours.

And not really scary

It's a compositing trick - a pretty easy one too and easy to make look real. The most you will see in videos that might be real is object that appear to move on their own, shadow people (which are most commonly the shadow of the person filming it but they don't realize it because of how the lighting works in some buildings), heat based video of partial apparitions, and maybe orbs.

The human mind easily turns things we see into things we thought we saw making every event where a person claims to have seen a full body or even a partial apparition very unlikely. Even if ghosts do exist - it's believed there is a force that prevents them from making themselves known through scientific proof.

Ghosts are most commonly described as a wandering or earthbound soul. So proof of a ghost existance means the soul may exist which means there may be an afterlife and if that were true then maybe one of these religions is true. So what's wrong with that? Religions are based on faith. If you have no faith but you try to become part of a religion because you now believe there's something after life and you want to be a part of the best place you can go - you aren't doing so out of faith and you aren't really part of that religion. So if religion is real (which i believe it is but you know- thats me) and we find proof it is real where does that put everyone else that was not a believer but now is because "Science said so"?

I know its fake. I believe they are ALL fake. you know, ghosts and all that Jazz. Its just fun to look at.

So really, I just want this to be a fun thread. No arguing, no debates, just fun.

Not so much fake as no way to truly prove or disprove them.
Religions themselves screw themselves over by trying to provide 'proof'. If you feel the need to provide 'proof' for something that should be purely faith, it's not so much a matter of faith as it is just another matter of proof.
Same things apply to ghosts, I should think. I dislike the thought, as it is the unknown; Something we cannot document. It scares quite a bit of people.

Im sad that there really havent been any REALLY scary things on the web lately.....at least that i know of -.-;;

A different kind of monster.

Its really easy to take a picture of a "ghost". All you have to do is get the "ghost" person to walk down the street. You keep the shutter of a camera open for several seconds, and it looks like you can see right through the "soul". It's a really old trick that photographers used to get some quick money. I even have a few "ghost" pictures of myself. They're actually pretty convincing.
