I knew it had to be Laura! This will bring lots of trouble between Keith and atani's budding romance :p

Sorry about the long absence, I went to Montana on a mission trip to the Black Feet Indian Reservation and am only just gtting back into things. (Also, I just typed most of this with my head turnned away and half asleep)

Anyone else think Alaric's teasing Keith and knows most of what Keith's about to say already? But of course, he doesn't know Keith's interpretation of the situation, and he's almost certainly noted that Keith didn't mention her in the story.

YAY! Laura came to find keith, Good for him. i still wanna know about Alaric's eye though. but whast will Natani think of this? hmmm is this good news or bad news.

Lets hope Natani and Laura meet up later :P That would cause some racketing once Laura goes on how she found the love of her life again XD. Appearently Keiths memory is half bad to. He wanted to know about the Alarics Eye but then he seem more interested in knowing about the "girl".

Priorities, Kobi. :P Pretty girls who want to know about you always get priority.

Considering how well Natani took Keith just going to the baths, I don't think the news of Laura is going to go over happily with her. She'll be more confused than ever, since I doubt she'll fully grasp why she feels the way she does about this, but all that means is that she'll be angry and confused. As they say, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, even if that woman pretends to be a man and didn't realize she was in love with you right away and you keep denying to yourself that you have feelings for her too. Okay, they probably don't say all that, but I'm putting money on it being true in this case.

I think it's a trap, as soon as Keith get there he gets attacked. That's my feeling(or paranoïa).

Natani will indeed be angry and confused but the main problem is that she can't really compete with her for Keith's love and stay a man. Even if she abandon her disguise it's a an already winned game and she know it. She will recognize Keith heart's desire. I think to the situation and I'm almost sure that the song fitting for Natani at this moment will be Girl Next Door by Saving Jane. Oddly, I doubt that Laura is that sure to win Keith though. The guard will probably think that Keith would be better with a Basitin while I don't see Natani give up so easily. I foresee a nasty fight.

Hmm... as cute as Keith and Natani's are together, Laura is my favorite in the coming triangle. The fact that she's devoted so much time to finding him is very uncharacteristic of a Keidran (instinctualy speaking of course) so she has to genuinely love him. Plus she's spent years looking for him (a good portion of her life.

That said, Laura will either die or have been remarried as Natani has no chance within this situation. Also, I was reminded of the comic where Keith ran for president.

edit: Also remember that Laura's use as a distraction triggered a Bastin Rage from Keith (as seen here). Judging from Bastin society, this state requires intense emotions that they are trained since birth to suppress.

I am so loving these shirtless Keith comics. And I really love his stunned look in the last panel.

Heh, of course it's Laura...I suppose there really couldn't be any other answer to that one. I wonder why she left her homelands? It seems to point to classic "I love you and I will follow you and hope against hope to find you I'm sorry I'm sorry!" sentiments...

How old must she be, now? Do we know how old she was when Keith first met her? I'm doing all of this from memory, so my guesstimations might be off... let's assume she was about Flora's age when Keith was first taken in by her tribe, so, 10. Six years have passed since then, which would make her 16...with only about 4 years left to live? She's getting old, either way.

Also, Tom, way many kudos for having all of these comics out on time. I'm really impressed and very grateful.

I saw this one coming and I guess so did everyone else. We are such good readers.

I was also thinking about Laura's age hwne I read it. Sad thing, if Keith suddenly goes "Who's this ugly hag here!?" ...Naw. He should be well aware of the age problem.

I'm guessing Basitin have the same life expectancy as Keidran. Obviously Laura is alive (and well) and still has Keith in her memory, so the time span couldn't be long enough to have such a drastic effect on her. Then again we never know.

I shall, as usual, list down speculations of possible outcomes.

1. Laura is as Keith remembers. Keith gets soft hearted, and Natani is torn between infatuation and her need to pretend she is still a man (let's not forget Flora still things Natani is gay). Possiblity: 75%
Permutation A: Flora senses Natani's growing tension and offers her help, which Natani refuses. She tells Trace who begins a little poking... causing Natani to go all emo and lock herself in her room. Possiblity: 60%
B: Natani decided Keith is better off with his old flame but still harbours secret feelings which she firmly denies.. until she smells some subtleseed and lets it all out in an inappropriate moment at the shock and amazement of all. Possibility: 15%.
C: Natani meets another guy to have a crush on and the matter dissolves by itself. Possibility 5%.

2. Laura and Keith meet, but there is no reignition of their spark. Natani goes for Keith like a hungry shark. Possibility 15%.
A. Keith grudgingly accepts but still looks out for other options as long as Natani's identity holds. Possibility 25%.
B. Keith rebuffs Natani's offer in fear of being ostracised. A stressed Natani battles with her identity whether to act like a man or woman. Possibility 70%.
C: Zen tells Natani she has to go and do something else that distracts her from Keith. Possibility 5%.

3. Something happens so that Keith and Laura cannot meet. Possibility 9%.
A. Templar reach Basitin Island and war ensues. Possiblity 50%
B. Keith and Co have to leave for their next destination before Keith can get comfy with Laura. Possibility 49%.
C. Trace trounces the Keidran and decides to rampage. Keith jumps in to intervene. Possibility 1%

4. Lady Nora reveals Natani's identity. Possibility 1%
A. Laura thinks Keith has moved on and decides to end their romantic relationship. Possiblity 80%.
B. Keith wants to stay with Luara, but Laura/Keith leaves by will/by force, leaving Keith stuck with Natani. Possibility 20%.

5. A plothole opens in the comic, Tom decides to kill off Keith, and pizza boy saves the day. Possibility: Negligible.
