i just started reading two kind about a week ago. and then i started reading this forum. everyone says that flora is pregnant but personnally i dont think that it is possible, because, i might be wrong on this, but trace looks like he is only 13 and it is impossible to impregnate a women at that age. either trace is a lot older than he looks or flora has just gained some weight and she is not pregnant

In the modern Japanese style of drawing there's only two looks; the insanely young and the stupidly old. :D
So trace is in between 13 - 35, at which point, hell wrinkle over night, like a pear. :twisted:

if you read the characters page on tom's site. its says trace is 26.

no prob. tom only recently updated the characters page. until then, we were all just guessing. also, one thing i've noticed is that trace seems to have gotten older looking as the comic has progressed. go back and look at the beginning comics. he looks like he's about 11. now, he looks much older. (his hair has grown alot too).

This is a little off topic but I do remember reading somewhere that two eight or nine year old kids, not really knowing what they were doing, mannaged to get pregnant.

Ok, actually there's been a case even younger than that.

Males don't really have any age limit on when they could technically get a girl pregnant, just the whole lack of any sex drive until puberty kicks in tends to preclude it. Well, that and the legality of it.

He does seem to look a little older/mature than in earlier comics but maybe thats just me seeing things that aren't there.

I first wondered the same thing, especially due to the lack of any sort of facial hair, though I found the page that said trace's age before I asked.

However, This picture shows that trace has had facial hair before the current story.

In short, good question I guess - I had assumed he was like 14-16 or so...

Is it just me or does anyone else find it disturbing, that someone put thirteen-year-old and impregnation in same contexst.

Actually, if you familarize yourself enough with enough artists anime styles, you can get a closer estimation of how old someone is. Based on what I know, I would say Trace is somewhere between 18 and 23. Anyone else have a more precise number?

**EDIT** OK, I just read where it says that Tom says Trace is 26. I was close!

Um...Have you even been to sex ed? Puberty begins at 10 for guys and 9 for girls, it is more than posible to impregnate women at that age and also, Trace is like 26 or something. Using Saria's grave I anitialy thought he was much older but then i read the character page.

That WAS interesting...Normally, if a girl has a boy before like 16 or so, there is suppose to be a VERY high chance that the girl can never again have kids once they are truly pregnant...And actually, just cause people SAY Boys are 10 and girls are 9, doesn't mean it always happens. Didn't you hear what Scientists think they might have found in terms of evidence?
How soon you have your first kiss (Im pretty sure they mean non family) is suppose to make Puberty start faster for you then normal, they say...but still, random chances can occur to have kids start early or late...
