Nooo!! not the dragon fly...too late. hmmm why would you want to remember being a slave. thats kinda odd, o well they should head closer to the city cause I get this felling something bad is going to happen.

I wonder how much to worry about how Trace is thinking. He's getting past his amnesia-induced "I don't know what to be worried about," but as he's shifting towards his older train of thought, he seems to be moderating or countering it with his new perspective... blaming the different emotions and reservations not on her, but on his own viewpoint.

I see that "Maybe I'm thinking more like a human" as linking uncomfortably with his experiments at turning into a white tiger.

Hey, Trace, if your lover is a kitty, you'd better get used to her muching on bugs.

I mean, would you try to stop a human woman from eating chocolate?

Stopping pregnant human woman eating chocolate whuld be second last thing you do on this earth.

The thing that I'm concerned about is that this isn't just a dragonfly. It's a Basitin dragonfly. Isn't darn near everything on this archipelago as toxic as an antifreeze-motor oil cocktail? That was the reason Keith gave for being immune to poisons, wasn't it?

I wonder how our dear little Trace is going to react when ALL of his memories return; it would be fun to see if it wasn’t slowly but like lightning from a clear sky.
No warning no nothing it could be something that is done to him, (the people on the island wanted him there for a reason) they could do something that would knock him out or something like that.
When he awakens he is confused to begin whit and then bam, his memory are returning, like a broken dam the memory just keeps coming and he can’t do anything to stop it.

The perfect timeming would be when Flora has just given birth to there child/children, the old Trace hated her kind and a hybrid something he has "helped" creating, man I foresee a massive inner fight.
The old Trace wanting to kill both Flora and there offspring in blind hatred, and the newer Trace who loves them more then anything else.

the fight would be more and more intense until it climaxed whit the old Trace trying to kill Flora in her sleep, and the newer Trace managing to stop himself in the last second, but the shock would send him into a coma.

Flora(would be nice if she had had to fight for her life before Trace managed to get a hold of himself) would be left on her own to take care of there child, not knowing if Trace would ever come back to her.

Ohh that would be fun to watch indeed, the agony the tragic tale ohh such a thing would be amusing indeed :twisted:

Artwork on this one is great, keeps getting better and better. It'd be odd for Flora to miss being a slave to me, though having fond memories isn't really that bad or unexpected, even in the worst situations you might remember something good from it all.

I find it perfectly natural for her to have nostalgic feelings about certain aspects of her time in slavery...people deal with bad situations however they can. I'm thinking of Auschwitz survivors getting together years later and talking and laughing about their time there (in a "remember when you did such-and-such?" way, not a "ha ha, that whole thing was great" way). It can and does happen.

Also: I'm seeing a disturbing trend surfacing of Trace thinking of Flora as an animal. First with the eating meat, now with the dragonfly. I foresee hard times and inner trauma. Bum bum bum.

They don't drink something that could function as Jet-Fuel, though I'd say they're about halfway there.

I see your point, though. That could lead to some 'minor' problems.

Don't worry. I really doubt that she will catch the dragonfly. Kitty are good stalker but once they miss the first strike, it's unlikely that they can catch up a startled flying thing. If I was you, I was worried about how Trace react. It's a bad sign when Keith seem likely to quit the group. Who will beat Trace to reason now? Who will soothe Flora when crisis will happen? As long the old Trace is not yet out of function, Keith must stay in case bad turn to worse.
