Wow, first post? But I don't have any of those automated toys...

I like how Tom drew those mountains. Very majestic.

I also want to take the time to admire Flora's hand in the 3rd panel... Tom does a really good job at hands.

And, of course... awww... Natani's jealous! *heeheehee!* She'd better be careful, she's going to slip up that way.

Oooo, this will not turn out well for Keith. And an extremely nice job on the mountains, Tom. It's hard to illustrate just how awesome they are, but you did so quite well. Still nothing compared to actually seeing them, but close.

I'm almost sure that this will add to the few clues and hints (she probably heard Keith) that make her think that Natani is gay. I doubt that Keith will be pleased by that but it's not like he really had a choice.

Makes you wonder if Natani even listens to herself talk. Wow, that came out as a jealous tirade. Hrm... Makes me wonder if she'll come to her realization only after someone asks her about it. She'll deny feeling jealous but after contemplation, it'll sink in.

If this is how she gets after Keith goes to talk to his "old friend" with the ambiguous desires, just imagine the huff she'll be in when Keith goes to see the mysterious girl he's trying to investigate.


Second on that. Holy cow that's a difficult perspective to draw a hand at. Third panel also features some very nice skies again; par for Tom.

I have no choice but to agree. Flora's bound to have cemented her thoughts that Natani's gay by now. Which should make for very...disconcerting dialog for Keith when Natani's true sex comes out.

Flora:"Keith! You're not gay!"
Keith:"Uh....yeah."
Alaric:"Dash it all!" ;)

I don't know why, but the thought of Alaric going "Dash it all!" for any reason at all makes me giggle madly.

But lo! I have a new prediction!

Flora sits down with Keith, sometime this afternoon. "Keith, can we talk for a little?" Keith: "... Uh ... sure?"

Flora and Keith go off to the side, and Flora says to Keith, "I dunno what you did to Natani, but he's really upset. I think you might want to do something special for him. Like maybe flowers and dinner or something, I dunno. I'm not sure what guys ... like you ... do for each other."

Keith: "Er... what?"

Flora: "Oh, don't worry, I won't tell anyone you two are gay, but it's obvious to me. And right now, I think he just is feeling really upset that you left him alone."

Keith: "I'm not gay!"

Flora: "You don't like Natani ... that way?"

Keith: "Uh.. no! I ... well ... sometimes... but ... I mean... it's ... complicated! ARGH!"

Flora giggles. "You're *blushing*! How cute! Oh, don't feel bad if you like him, it's all right."

Keith: (hides his face in his hands.) (thinks:) "Why do the creators hate me so?"

Nice scenario but I prefer the one where Keith go see Michelle. The illusion jump on him. The female Keith meet Flora and she takes the whole situation like Mike and Evals but reversed.

Flora: Oh God! Natani use the mana stones you gave to him and transforms you in a female to have sex with you. What a pervert!

Keith: It's not like that.

Flora: What?!? You willingly ask him to do that to you.

Keith: No, I mean... it's complicated.

Keith is far to loyalto betray Natani's secret and I doubt that he can come with a logical explaination. Keith is not really god with words, weapons and threats are what is good with.

Well, thats a good sign of Floras tolerance, as cats in general hate when someone tay with tails. Something to do with the fact, of tail being direct continuum of spine. Thus, full of touchy, feely nerves.

Catherine_Puce, kryss, you girls are twisted; no offense. :P

Not to say either of those wouldn't be a laugh riot. And either way it promotes the sort of torture I prefer. Tom loves the embarrassing situations, but give me emotional torment any day.

Personally, my preferred scenario involves Keith telling Trace that he and Natani are gay, after Trace walks in on them in a compromising position. This way you can see an exchange like:
Natani: "I can't believe you just told Trace you're gay."
Keith: "Natani, I love you. I'd do anything to be with you. If that means that everyone has to believe that I'm gay, so be it; just so long as we're together."
Natani: "...Keith...If you're willing to be gay for me, the least I can do is be female for you."

I don't think that the tail being full of nerves would have anything to do w/ sensitivity, as you only feel w/ sensory nerves.

I find it very amusing, though, how half the people on these boards refer to me as female, and half refer to me as male.
