"If it was me..." should be, "If it were me..."
Things like subjunctives really make me hate the English language.
(Explanation, if anyone's interested http://www.bartleby.com/64/C001/061.html)

tom should write the comic on word or appleworks or whatever, then spell check, look it over, then add it to the comic

In the latest comic (5/1/2007) 'aloud' should be 'allowed' and 'may of killed' should be 'may have killed'.

I think "may of" might be a form of the vernacular or shortened pronunciation.

If it was shortened pronunciation, it should be contracted to "may've." That's how people started using "of" in the first place...it sounds like "'ve." Either way, it's an innocent grammatical mistake, but a mistake nonetheless.

In the comic for May 7th, 2007; Lynn's second word bubble contains "messanger," which should be spelled, "messenger."

In the comic for May 25, Alaric's first line is "Fiancé, wow... I had no idea..." Assuming the line refers to Laura (which is how I read it), that should be "Fiancée" (two e's, accent over the first). The fiancé is the male in the engagement and the fiancée is the female. The use of different words is hold over from the original French, where the words change on the gender.

Yeah, I think the fact that he spelled editors wrong is proof of that. I'm really bad with grammar and spelling but I'm trying my best to improve that. Thing is proper usage of commas etc don't seem important but they can drastically change the meaning of a sentence and making it hard for the editors.

I saw her die.
I saw her, Die.

The first one you saw her pass away. The second one you're talking to a guy named Die and you are telling him that you saw her.

Sorry, I that was the best example I could come up with.

Pick up The Elements of Style. It can't help with the spelling but it could help with the grammar.

In 7/23/07's comic: "rediculously" should be "ridiculously."
