Just pondering, why Trace has hair of such a weird color? The rest of humans in the comics seems to have pretty normal colored hair. Seems that color is natural, I don't think he'd color his hair.. but why aqua? Never saw anyone with such a hair color.

it seems fitting for the majik tricks that he can do

Maren has purple hair, Karen has Green hair, and No name has Red hair.

Are those natural?

Twokinds originally began as a full-fledged attempt at a Japanese manga and all things that come with it - weird hair colors, exaggerated actions and features, etc... but as the comic's progressed, I moved towards a more realistic setting for Twokinds. The color schemes, as I improved with my Photoshop skills, have slowly become more realistic and reflective of the times. So, characters from the earlier comics had very anime-like appearances and vibrant hair colors. Current characters and settings feature more realistic backgrounds, landscapes, and actors. Hope that helps explain some things. Trace is one of the only current characters that was also one of the first characters. Flora's hair-color just happens to be normal by coincidence.

It's not anime without the crazay hair colors. Seriously. I mean it. Seriously.

Or, more generally, the weird hair colors are a useful reminder that this isn't Earth, and the "human" characters really aren't the same species as us. They're quite similar to humans, but they're really something slightly different. The magic isn't the only difference; they also have hair colors not seen on Earth.

A while back, someone pointed out that Trace's hair has grown during the months of the story. Not many hair stylists where they've been. And it's obvious that his roots are growing out with the same blue color, so it's natural.

What I want to see is the hair pattern and color of Trace & Flora's child. What would be ideal would be a furry kitten with Flora's pattern of stripes, but blue-and-black striped. That would make it really obvious who the father is, and would be incredibly cute.

Hang on a sec... does that mean that Karen, Raine, Trace's old girlfriend and That Red Guy are officially out of the comic now? That would be sad...

No, they'll still be here I think, it's just thats it for the crazy hair colors.

Yes there all dead, they died in a gas explosion. Rendering all those pages of character development useless.

ok, the red hair is still seen, even in real life... but just sorta rare.

i mean look at it this way,

yu-gi-oh: yugi has maroon AND yellow hair.

final fantasy advent children: kadaj and gang has white hair, and thier quite young....

beyblade: kai has grey hair.

but they all still look kinda natural. manga doesn't have to make sense, if trace looks good with aqua coloured hair, i think that's a good enough reason to colour it that way.

the guy named red i think with the giant sword has red hair...

the girl has blue-ish hair...

we have furries with grey,blue,orange,red,light tan, and even in some cases black and very neon color hair.....

i think this thread is more of a laugh for ranting board ... hehe..

sorry...but really...its a comic...and btw... some color can be applied to hair and still make it look good... er... I had a pic of a fur and a human (myself) with hair color of the same type...where did I put it????... ah whatever...

anyways I think Traces hair looks great...and it can be thought that some Magical energies could have flooded his cells ..

*ahem* Cells in our body change with certain cercumstances, DNA can define your appearance like your mouth, or nose, or even hair color, now the magical energies that flood Trace as his body seems to have enough flowing through him that (for isntance) his eyes glow a pale yellow or even red which im sure you've all noticed, this DNA magical manipulation, can probably cause his hair to glow the same color as his powers...pale teal or as you called it... AQUA colored ^^

Don't bring science into fantasy worlds.
If you really want to, it'd be more proper to say that magic changed his pigments.

Also, I doubt Manga are an inspiration for colorful hair. Usually, they're black and white only.
Anime does have colorful hair tho.

Possibly, but more likely it will be a keidran like Flora, with blue hair on his head like Trace. I know it sounds like it would look bizarre, but that's what I think is going to happen.

Not that it's appearance matters much. Being a sin of nature (Being a crossbreed from two seperate species, already stated to be unable to breed), it's first words will likely be along the lines of "Kill me..."

Anyways, yeah, the appearance will be wierd. Blue somewhere on it is obvious, likely will have Kiedren fur too. Maybe it'll be something like "Appears human until puberty, where latent Kiedran genes start activating", or vice versa. Cliche, yes, though possible.
