Also, on another note, check out the painting behind his 'wife'.... Nuetrality is doin' some craaaazy spying there.... that's kinda stylish, in fact.

Trace is clearly lying, you can see the sweatdrops in his hair. However, Saria seems to have already figured it out, so he probably didn't have to. Stupid Trace

It's just especially unfortunate that Flora had to hear that.

Thats just not cool... Its a horrible mix of bad setting, bad timing and an already stressfull situation. I feel so bad for flora. At the same time, i feel a whole spectrum of emotions for Trace... i totally hate his guts for going all crazy with flora and just dropping it like it was all an act, but at the same time, i know he will miss her dearly and notice what he has done, when she is gone... only problem is then it will be freaking TOO LATE!!!

im going to go cry now *sniff*

Ouch.

Though to be fair to Trace, this could be BS. I mean, he's talking to his dying wife. He probably won't be saying, "Sorry honey, I never heard of you. And even if, I'm madly in love with the cat now." It just doesn't pan out.

Yeah I agree.
He is liying so that they don't think somthing is going on, but he didn't know she was stending there.
And poor Flora takes it the wrong way.

I guess Trace must have the most lousiest timing ever, saying all the wrong things at all the wrong times. And he doesn't seem to realise he's working himself deeper into trouble by all he's saying.

And poor Flora... How much more can she cope with...? :(

I'm sure he doesn't know that she is dying but whether he is lying or not it probably won't matter much longer. Of course, Flora did hear him say that and she probably won't realize that Trace is (if he is) lying.
