That, and why exactly is the condition to return from banishment to bring Trace? What do the Basitin need him for, I wonder.

I would say probly nothing... They just figured Keith would never ever be able to get Trace to them.

Exactly what I said when I read it haha, but yeah I'm also wonderin where Natani is, but like Alabaster said, maybe they just chose bringing trace cause it was an endeavor he'd likely never be capable of arranging and was likely to die for attempting.

Alabaster states that the conditions were supposed to be impossible and that Keith wasnt supposed to be able to bring Trace there. In fact it seems to be tradition for people that are banished to have an impossible task in order to be able to come back. Not very nice to know that if you mess up they seem to give you a chance, but its really just impossible.
And let me add that Flora and Trace look so cute together like that. I bet it knocked old Alabaster on his metaphorical butt. Serves him right for hitting Keith!

for some reason alabaster reminds me of the propet from halo i can't remember which one, but it was the one with the annoying voice who got attacked by the flood and left behind by tartarus and the other prophet.

What's the reaction of the Basitin going to be with Flora being clearly with Trace.

Did they used to think Trace was good for killing a ton of Keidran?
This will be interesting.

My new site update detector works, but I was away when it went off...
It just loads the HTML from http://2kinds.com/todayscomic.htm (Or any other site) and detects if it changes. If you guys want a copy (I can compile for Mac windows and Linux) I can fix it up a bit, and upload it. Of corse I will have to add a daily voting reminder. :)
If your wondering it should not stress the server because it just loads the tiny text file, and no images, at a maximum of once a minuet. (I might increase that a bit to minimize server stress) The image is is over 200KB and the HTML is less than 2KB (I think) so its like loading the image every 2 hours, but I'm not sure about the connection overhead.

That's a legal loophole at work for you.

Any resentment for Keith would be likely silenced by Trace, seeing the Basitins' respect(?) towards him...

While the end sentiment isn't quite the phrase I would use, that smug smirk is really the the best part of the comic (from a visual standpoint) right there. Someone is far more excited about this than some of the other people there. :P

I don't know if Trace has anything to fear just yet; I'm going to reserve judgement until I see why the Basitin wanted him, other than just assuming that it was impossible for an exile to bring the Grand Templar with him. A fair assumption, considering that before Trace lost his memory, he'd be happier to kill Keith than to look at him -- to have fur and a weapon was as good as a death sentence with Evil Trace. Trace certainly doesn't seem all that worried himself.

Well, at least he now has a chance to prove his innocence (which might be impossible after all this time). If memory serves, when he was banish he was just put onto a raft and pushed away and didn't get to say or do anything. But maybe he wouldn't have been able to say or do anything anyway since he was just a kid back then.

Well, he brought back Trace...and for the moment is back in his own society. Maybe someone will write his name in the Bastin Book of Records as the first to be allowed to return. 8-]

...Now the question of the hour is what will be the fate of Trace and Flora? And the child(ren) she's carrying?
