I rather think that it's a very late 26th. But, for me, it's been the 27th for only 46 minutes, which means that in most of the world, except for bits of Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii, it's been the 27th for longer.
...Wow, I'm one of the very last people to get to the next day, every day, on the planet. Relatively speaking. Crazy, crazy thought.

ANYway. Hee, look, see, Erik's not all that bad, he's showing Kat the beauty in the world around her. ...He just happens to find female Keidran beautiful, as well. I mean, to be expected *halo*

You know what's frikkin' hilarious? That spear you've all been *ahem* "discussing" is apparently enough important enough of a design to the Basitin culture to make it into their statues. I think it looks fairly usable. I mean, you can kill someone with a fork, yeah? I'm pretty sure you can kill someone with that spear.

Basitin port = pretty! I really, really love this people already.

I'm so excited for the next comics--there will be a surplus of ears!

(Wow, this is the first time there hasn't been two pages of stuff when I get around to posting...)

The port, it's beautiful, and awe inspiring. Look at that mountain with the walled city near the top. That's going to be a serious climb - I hope that that is where we are headed. Unless there is transport, that climb is going to show who's fit and who's not.

This city is great. It's easy to guest why the king choose this place to make his Capital. Kathrin really make a good deal when she convinces him to take him to this trip. This was really worth it. It could become a great touristic place if the Basitin wasn't so reclusive. Beside, I'm almost sure that there plenty of exotic things that Eric could buy and sell back at a good price. I'm instinct tell me that almost everyone will get something good from this stop.

Mêmes si les choses risque de mal tourner durant les premiers temps.

S.P.P.

Yes, Kathrin, I agree: Woah...! Like, ZOMG, that is purty. And the spears ARE a good length for combat. They are deadly and they keep the opponents at a distance.

The Basitin King just won the award for the most desertion-inducing castle EVER.

"Okay troops, attack that castle!"

"The one on top of the bloody MOUNTAIN? Yeah, I'm thinking... no."

And the port seems pretty bustling for a decimated race. Things may not be as bad as rumour would have us believe. Or the Basitin population is concentrated in the one city now.

Anyone else loving the low-level flirting between Eric and Kathrin?

The fortress on the mountain top. Looks good to me. Poor possible attackers.

that made me really laugh(the part about the troops)... hehe...

but i really agree: this is the best piece i have seen from tom, it looks awesome! maby later tom should make a full-sized wallpaper from it.

also that statue going ^_^ looked soo funny... LOL

also, it *is* supposed to be the one for the 26th, look at the url: http://2kinds.com/images/comics/20070126.jpg, also the 26th is Friday, and as tom updates it on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, not Saturday...

Yes, yes, we all agree that the island is very impressive.
I'm a little more concerned with the well being of our heroes once they reach the port. Not just possible apprehension by the Basitin guard, but illness from the toxins of the islands.

*WHOAH* That's gorgeous! Look at those statues! Look at that city! I LOVE that architecture! Basitins rule!

And keep in mind, people - those statues and that high-up castle had to be made without any spells getting flung about!

YES!, im not the only one after all, but now all of a sudden the air has gone from dark in the last comic to all bright and fresh for the 26th's comic...

Weird,

But im a little distracted from that now, because Kathrin's back !!! :D
