Lately, I havn't really been interested in RTS games; even Statrcraft loses its luster after a while.
However, one of my new favorites is, you guessed it, Rise of Lengends. It's a strategic RTS that doesn't really add many mew mechanics from previous Rise of Nations games, but the presentation is absolutely spectacular.
There are three civilizations to choose from: The Vinci, the Alin, and the Coutl. The Vinci are mechanical masters who have harnessed the power of steam to drive clockwork warriors and immense engines of destruction. The Alin are a mystical desert dwelling people who use fire elementals and creatures of dark glass to wage war. FInally, the Coutl are an enigmatic people, steeped in the power of their gods, and controling gigantic stone idols and floating cities of annihilation.
To put it short: This game is really fun and really cool to look at, so any self-respecting RTS fan needs to give it a try.
