Basitin can't use magic is Keith didn't lie or ignore the truth but thenVehra and Nahri aren't suppose to be witch. However, their staff looks magic. Does the basitin used to raid and declare war to the humans and Keidran to harvest magical item? Afterall, there are a martial race, it's seem logic that they had a past writed in blood.

It could have also trade them by trading them against criminals sell as slaves but it's doesn't look like them and nothing said that this pictures aren't canon.

Après tout, ils doivent vouloir compenser pour leur manque de magiciens.

S.P.P.

I figure those pictures just aren't canon, though I don't have a clear idea of what your saying. I'm guessing English isn't your first language. :)

On another note, I would reply to what you said in French but for the life of me I can't remember what the infinitive form of doivent is. D:

delusional hes saying this:

Basitin can't use magic unless Keith lied or ignored the truth but then Vehra and Nahri are suppose to be witches(their stave's look magical). did the Bastian raid and war humans to harvest magical items? After all, they are a martial race, it's seem logical that they had a past written in blood.

It could have also have been traded to them in exchange for prisoners sold as slaves but it doesn't look like a Bastian and nothing said that this slave is a Bastian.

(i may have missed a bit, i didn't retype it all, just edited as needed)

That's mostly what I thought, so my original statement stands. I don't think those pictures are entirely canon. Of course, it's entirely possible that they can use magic with outside help, they may just not have the innate ability like humans and Keidran do.

Maybe they can't cast magic. But perhaps they can craft it into their tools?

If this is right, his sword and his helmet could still reserve us a little surprise. It would be a lot funnier that simply make this pictures not canon. Furthermore, it would be a wise choice from the mask that created them to give them magic like them. This force this war-like specie to put lot of energy to the creation instead of just the destruction.

Un moyen d'équilibré la situation.

S.P.P.
