I may be a die hard Sony/PS3 fan, but the Wii game 'Red Steel'(I think?) is definitely worth my hard earned cash, its on my stuff I MUST get list, Katana's are the greatest weapons, next to the H&K G3A3 that is. (If my spelling of Katana is wrong can someone please tell me?)

The controller will mean the end of software induced gun wobble, man that gets predictable and annoying sniper rifles are the worst for this! don't quite see how it could work for flight games (Ace Combat Rocks! it should be on all consoles), and 3rd person action adventures.

Well as far as that goes i thnk the nunchuck will be used more then the WiiMote in games like that

Quote:
Contoured to perfectly fit a player's hand, the Nunchuk controller builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller and goes an extra step to meet the needs of gamers. The Nunchuk controller connects to the Wii Remote controller at its expansion port and is used in conjunction with the Wii Remote controller.

The Nunchuk controller contains the same motion-sensing technology enabled in the Wii Remote controller but also includes an analog stick to assist in character movement. In several games, players will use the analog stick of the Nunchuk controller to move their characters and the Wii Remote controller to perform a specific action, whether that's throwing a pass in football or aiming a ranged weapon in an action game.

Along with the analog stick, the motion-sensing Nunchuk controller also contains two buttons positioned for quick access. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. The ambidextrous nature of the Wii controllers grants accessibility seldom seen in game controllers.

Anyone saw hello to a huge supply of combat fighter games?

Anyone know how much they'll cost

here's something interesting
each person can have their own personalized 3D avatar stored on a controll, up to three of them

Quote:
Nintendo

Fun 3-D caricatured portraits of users, or Miis, created in this channel can be used on characters across a variety of Wii software. In addition to storing Miis on the Wii, several Miis can be stored in a user’s Wii Remote and taken to a friend’s house to play on another Wii console. Each member of the family can have his or her Wii Remote personalized with their own Mii.

That's pretty good for a new system. 360 is still around $400 CDN (at Future Shop, so it might be a lot cheaper elsewhere)
