A movie based on a game is still a movie so we'll toss it in the media board. =)

Yaaay! A MGS movie! Man, I loved the story and the cinematics were cool enough. Will it be actors or CG?

David Hayter! They need to get David Hayter to play Snake! All they need to do is dye his hair brown instaed of black. Heck he does the voice for Snake, and has the approxomate build needed for the part.

It's perfect! PERFECT I TELL YOU!!!! *Gagghjkj n,xvsnc

Same here. It will be a great film, I bet, because the game's great. I've got the theme to metal gear solid as well. Anyone want it?

Well I'll see that when it comes out, hopefully it'll be more than a money grabber.

All we have to worry about is Kojima suddenly going crazy and ruining the whole thing himself. (Kind of like how George Lucas ruined the Prequels.)

As long as that doesnt happen, he won't let anyone else ruin the movie.

( aeris; Use Capitals, periods, commas, and question marks more. Your run-on sentance is more understandable then. )

My friend read in the local chinese game magazine that the actor MIGHT be the guy who does Aragorn, or someone from LOTR. Not too sure, but a lot of the people who read that magainze said it was someone there so far. I'll get back on that.

Appearently Ume Bahl(sp?)... you know... that guy that makes really really crappy Video Games like Blood Rayne and alone int he Dark.. you know.. those movies where they have the characters.. but totally butchers the storyline... ((BLOODRAYNE IS THE ONLY MAIN CHARACTER SHE DOES NOT NEED HUMANS TO HELP HER! D:< ))... yea.. he wanted to direct that movie...

Thankifully.. the Creator of MGS told him to shove it! XD

Ha ha, I'll bet money it sucks like, oh, just about every other video game movie... ever. It will be interesting to see how they adapt it, but I don't think it'll be all that good.

I still have hope that someone, someday... somewhere... somehow, will make a good video game movie.

So we have two more to put our hopes on in the near future. Halo and Metal Gear.

Well it will be definitely hard to make a good one because a game is typically longer then a 2 hour movie. I think it would be better if theymade game movies as a sequel or a prequel so we don't hav to reflect it on the original game, just the characters and a bit of the story I suppose.
I hope MGS and Halo aren't a too big of a let down like the other game movies.

There's good hope for Halo because it was being directed by Peter Jackson, last I heard. :D
