that's one strong mask to break the sword, although, good thing it didn't go through, if it had, it could have killed Flora!

So he finally managed to overcome his doubts and thus attacked Neutral/Ephemural/Flora. Yet, the sword didn't appear to have any effect... or didn't it? :wink:

I guess in Wednesday's comic, either the mask's gonna split in two, or Trace is in really deep trouble.

And as I don't think the fight's gonna be won that easily or end so soon, so it's gotta be option number two... :?

Edit: Yet, now I think about it: frame #5, the reflection in the sword.... It is Ephemural's mask, but Trace appears to see Flora's eyes behind them. Is it she who is telling him... who is encouraging him to attack...?

I like plan D ^^ -pounces him- but THats pretty suprising someone can break a sword on her face.

Oh how cute it will be. I can imagine it as if it were happening now. Which it most certainly won't. I love things being unpredictable, and Tom is very good at that. I'm also happy the forum is no longer in time warp ;3

But I'm putting my money on the fact that it'll break sooner or later. Maybe not in the next comic, maybe not in the one after that, but it will soon!!!

Hmm....I didn't notice Flora's eye in the sword untill just now....maybe she is calling to Trace somehow....throught their love....yeah, i know. it's corny, but hey, it makes some sense if you think about it.

What disturnbs me is how easily I missed the discarding of the magicks crystal. This enforces a) my theory that it would be to contrived of a means of defeating ephemural and b) the previous theory that it was used by Euchre to do something without the mask knowing, i.e giving of the sword maybe.
