Have you guys heard of Zimbabwe? If not then you've missed out...

Okay, right now it's led by a dictator who's opressing "his" people. He is insane, he makes more and more outragous claims, throwing conspiracy theory around like so much cheap confetti. He's also single handedly destroyed his economy and now Zimbabweans are starving, many are fleeing too South Africa as they have no other option, He now claims that Zimbabweans have plenty of food, namely the African potatoe, but zimbabweans don't like it and don't want too eat it!

They'd rather starve than eat something they don't like?

President Bush claimed that he would fight dictators and install democracy into that don't have. Why doesn't he do that in Zimbabwe? Seems obvious to me, as there is nothing of interest to Bush in Zimbabwe.

You may ask: why doesn't South Africa invade? Simple answer; we can't, our military strengh is shaky at best. There are also political factors in how the SA government owes alot too Zimbabwe... bollocks

That's a bit of a non-sequiter for ya. >.< I think Bush is too caught up with wanting to help Iraq though. Seems like that's his priority.

Despite numerous reports, USA's resources are not inexhaustible. Until we're not dependant on the Middle East for oil like so many crack addicts, we need to protect them. If someone nasty starts taking over back there, you might be riding on horseback to work before too long. :P

Seriously, though. Don't take a random third world country and say "WHY ISN'T THE USA PROTECTING THIS?" The answer is, we need to take things one at a time. Patience will erode a mountain into dust, it can take down a crazy guy telling people to eat more potatoes.

hehehe

Looks like I started something. I just mean too say that Bush does seem a bit hypocritical too me. Out of all the 3rd world countries he chooses an oil rich country? Under the guise of WMD's? He could of just said in the beggining that he wanted the oil.

I didn't mean too piss people off, but the way that America uses recources like theres no tomorrow does give the impression supposed unstopability.

*Wrenkild curls up in comfy jacket*

Really, I don't want angry debates... :D

UGH. It pisses me off to no end when people say crap like that. We did not go there for the fricking oil! Buh took ourtroops into Iraq becuase he had intelligece that they had nukes. How was he supposed to know if the info was true? If someone said there was a gun pointed at your head, would you really ignore it?>_<

Gah!!! Sowwy Dk! Please don't be angry =]

That's what it seems like from our perspective, but surely Bush should have acted on proper intelligence? Invading a country is a big thing.

It scares me when countries do things without U.N. approval, I understand that 911 was a terrible too the U.S. there wasn't one person who didn't cry here. Dk, this is how our country views it.

Like I said, I'm not trying too anger people :(

How was he supposed to kow if it was true? Most people will agree that you don't mess around with the threat of WMDs, and that when the threat is there, you act. Carefully, albeit, but you act. And it's not like deposing Saddam was a bad idea, the guy was sick. He tested nerve gas on his own people*!

I know that, but there are may other dictators around who do terrible things too their own people. I understand that that America needed to defend itself, but there was talk of how Bush acted on information that wasn't fully credited.

Thank you treating my opinions like an imbeciles...

No I meant talk by government officials. What I mean is that you make sure that your information is concrete before you invade.

Again I reiterate, I'm not looking too piss people off; namely you.

For the most part yes. I can see that he has his failings, but who doesn't? Mostly I agree with the ideas he put forward, and the other candidates were just annoying. This picture gives a good idea of how I feel about Kerry:

This is a neutral sort of view but Mmm boy, gotta love those approval polls. A whopping 37% so far on his side. Gosh, I hope we can pull through. >9.9<
