Indeed. I suggest you go find a chat room to spam.

Official chatroom? Yup! We still can't resist the urge to spam sometimes, though. Here's the info about the chatroom:

(I use the same nick there as I do here, in case you decide to check it out)

In general, off-topic randomness that goes on for more than a couple of posts, in my humble opinion. For instance, if the thread is discussing, say, politics, and you say "I like cheese," that would be spam. ^^ There is also a thread which discusses this in more detail...but I can't seem to find it, so I'll post the wikipedia def of spam. ^^ Here ya go:

Spam (electronic)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Spamming is the use of any electronic communications medium to send unsolicited messages in bulk. While its definition is usually limited to indiscriminate bulk mailing and not any targeted marketing, the term "spam" can refer to any commercially oriented, unsolicited bulk mailing perceived as being excessive and undesired. In the popular eye, the most common form of spam is that delivered in e-mail as a form of commercial advertising. However, over the short history of electronic media, people have done things comparable to spamming for many purposes other than the commercial, and in many media other than e-mail. Spammers have developed a variety of spamming techniques, which vary by media: e-mail spam, instant messaging spam, Usenet newsgroup spam, Web search engines spam, weblogs spam, and mobile phone messaging spam.

The name Spamming derives from the Monty Python Spam sketch about a diner which specializes in dishes made from SPAM brand processed meat, where at one point four Viking patrons in the diner began singing praises about SPAM which violently drowns out the normal dialogue in the sketch, hence SPAMming the dialogue. Spamming is economically viable because advertisers have effectively no operating costs beyond the management of their mailing lists. Because the barrier to entry is so low, the volume of unsolicited mail has produced other costs which are borne by the public (in terms of lost productivity and fraud) and by Internet service providers, which must add extra capacity to cope with the deluge. Spamming is widely reviled, and has been the subject of legislation in a number of jurisdictions, including the United States' CAN-SPAM Act of 2003.

Not true. Tom doesn't really care about the newbie thread, he hardly ever reads it. The only person we're making it hard for is Maloo. And of course we like it. :P . So stop spoiling our fun newb. D:
