As a few might already know, I do MIDI music stuff, be it Sequences of my favourite music or original compositions of mine, complete or otherwise. So I'd like to share my stuff.

First off, sequences.

Blameless Thoughts from Valkyrie Profile - This is my very first sequence I did, I really loved this song.
The First Unison from Valkyrie Profile. I did this sequence as a homage to my fav valkyrie profile song.
Theme of Battles from Tales of Destiny 2 (Not Eternia), I did this because it's an awesome battle theme, a great example of soft rock used in games.
Decisive battle from Tales of Destiny 2. The thick monster bass made me do it, that and the pianos and the odd 5/8 time signature. @_@
The Die is Cast from Tales of Rebirth. Did this because I was bored and felt the need to sequence something never sequenced before.
Combat 4 from Grandia X. Decided to shift gears and sequence an Iwadare song instead of a Sakuraba song. This one is real awesome, because iwadare owns, this is the hardest sequence i've had to do so far, but I am proud of the result.
Ain't your fairytale from Sonata Arctica. Finally, a non-videogame music sequence. This is one of my favourite songs from Sonata Arctica, a finnish Metal band. I did this because there isn't a decent MIDI file of this song anywhere.
Have Faith in Yourself from Grandia 2. You have no idea how hard it is to find an audio file of this song to sequence from. This is one of my favourite songs from Grandia 2.

WIP:

Haitoku no Hitomi Originally intended to be a starter for a composition game idead at VGMusic.com I decided to finish it after seeing nobody participating. As you can see, it's almost finished.

Finished originals:

My soundclick page This is where I keep all my finished and recorded works. I have a few more to be recorded and will be adding them shortly, until then, enjoy. ^^

Comments and critique would be greatly appreciated. I'll keep you updated on the new stuff. :)

It's normally not the kind of music I like but these sound pretty good. How long it takes, on the average, to finish one?
My favourite: "Have Faith in Yourself"

Anywhere between 3 days to 2 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the song.

Had to sign up for listening it. >_<

However, 7 min  ... don't wanna know how much work that was.
The song is quiet good, but my favourite is still "Have Faith in Yourself". ^^

Anyway, guess you'll get an folder on my mp3 player. It's a kinda nice alternation I think.

Reviving this topic since I got new stuff to listen. ^^

Soundclick :

law of the Land - Power Metal MIDI tune inspiredby various bands.

Midnighrt Nocturne - A slow ambient nocturne.

MIDI :

Sen no Kotoba - A three-movement 70's-style J-Rock MIDI I wrote for a competition. If you want an audio recording of the song, you can ask Rednaxela, he recorded it for me with his TiMIDIty Synth. ^^

Those are very good Joan including your soundclick sounds, I can actually see myself playing RPG's with these songs. Keep up the good work. *thumbs up*

(EDIT: although I did kinda jump when 'law of the land' "suddenly" started..........)
