I think a Democrat may win in the next election, but that's just me. I'm just curious. But let's not make a flame war over this, ok? Just a simple debate.

uhhh shoudlnt there be another option where you say "screw votin!" or somthin....
Edit: a joke! a joke!
he he he for those who havnt heard this joke, here it is...

A man walks into a bar, and theres a robot serving as the bartender.
So he goes up to it and askes for a beer.
The robot goes "Here you go, also what is your IQ level?"
"150"
so the robot starts talking about computers books and other gadgets...
Now the man was really inpressed so he tells his friend to go there.
His friend goes there gets a beer and the robot askes him what his IQ level is.
"100"
so the robot starts talking about cars swim suit models and sport.
So that guy was really impressed so he goes and tells his friend.
So he walks into the bar and orders two beers.
The robot askes him whats his IQ.
"uhhh 50 I think"
So the robot says really slowly.
"your... voting ....for .... the..... Democrats again?"

I got that of a person on da IRC chat, though I cant remeber who... anyways its a bit alted...

Let me guess.....something very bad happened in a similar poll for the 2004 elections?

A political debate that was soon going to turn into a flame war caused me to lock a thread. I believe he was referring to that.

I may be just a normal user, but I won't allow it! I want a fair, simple debate or vote. I suppose that the watching part is your job Yash.

OHNOEZ! Internet debate and peoples opinions! Meep! The arguments it creates! We cannot have this forum be reduced by people just voicing opinions!

*Ahems.*

Now for the purpose of me post. Internet. Serious, buisiness.

I also say that it may be Democratic. This administration has been all tom-foolery to be honest. 9.9 IF you take a good long look you see some pretty nasty things.

Also, Strider, that joke. It can be many ways. The other one I heard its punchline is "Oh, so you're voting for Bush then?"
It's a joke that is kinda made to offend... I mean, put your own political belief at the end of that line. Political comedy is all fun and good, but not the ones that bring resent from others. ^^

Anyway, that's my two cents.

It wasn't so much of a debate as a very off topic debunking of an idiotic propaganda theory.

Plus, In my opinion, if you haven't done your homework on the candidates you don't need to vote. Some people just hear on CNN that Bush is evil and decide that they should do what the shiny box tells them to and vote democratic, without ever researching the topic at hand. Personally I think there should be an aptitude test.

A clever psychologist could come from either party and engineer one that would tend to root out voters of the other party(ies)

It would have to be made by someone indifferent, though, and somone also not willing to sabotage the voting system.

Please read my statement carefully Azure. The political debate was completely off-topic, and starting to begin a flame war at that.

I did not lock the thread simply because they were debating. Please have a small amount of respect for my decisions.

I registered under no party. On an honesty note I cannot decide who I think will win. I will give my decision later when I review possible cannidates.
