Not too bad, the only thing I'd say to really try working on is the folds in the clothing. I think I just stated that somewhere else too. Hehe. I noticed you tried some areas of shading. The big thing with shading is using it properly convey foreshadowing/perspective.

For instance the arms are bent, and the hands are in the pocket, and it's drawn at the correct angle, but because the way the shading is, it looks like the elbows line up with the shoulders/wrists. In reality though, the elbows are somewhat behind the shoulders/wrists as. It's possible to have your elbows line up as such, but they'd be farther out...not to mention it would be a really awkward position. XD

So what you'd want to do is shade the area where the elbows are. I'd say if you were doing gradient shading to gradually shade up and down the arm starting from elbow. As for the two/three tone shading, you'd want to determine an area to have the shadow cut-off on the upper and lower parts of the arm.

I have no idea if that's going to come across right....if not...sorry ^.^;;; In anycase, just keep at it, your drawing's pretty good.

Now this would be acceptable! http://www.squirrelworks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=769

Read the first page to see why. The stick figures are cruddy but pretty **** funny.

Pretty good job, but as Fox said work on the folds and also your character looks a bit stiff to me. Look at how akward that stance is (stand infront of a mirror and try it!), the arms don't usually stick out that far right? Keep practicing you aren't too bad at all. :D

Unless you don't have school. :P But generally there's other things to fix that. -.-

If you did that, maybe not, but then again, nothing else would get in the way either. We'd all be dead or fighting for our lives...so I don't think drawing would be high up on the list anymore >.>
