What is your opinion of this? should Tom tire himself out and eventually fall behind from stress of school? or should he change the schedule for two kinds? I personally think, being in lots of advanced placement classes too, that Tom should reduce Two Kinds to twice a week..... I mean If you were to take avout 3 -4 advanced placement classes, the added workload during the school year will only rise... but If tom Believes that he could handle it and not do any extra curriculars :P then i think he could do it... Its just that i saw another online comic artist shut down the comic on an "intermineable" Hiatus because of stress, school work, and lost of interest because of the other two...

i wouldn't mind if he had to change his schedule to respect his school work. But basically it is his own decision.

I agree that school is very important and I vote that he should degrade the schedual to be twice a week. Then again i'm one not to mind at all as long as we get SOME comics a week.

I believe Tom should post comics whenever he has time and feels like it. No one's forcing him to do anything.

Bingo. Thats what should happen. But keeping a tight schedule like this is kinda easy. Mostly though tough. I made a magazine once for games reviews and tried to make one every week. It turns out the 2nd was really cruddy. But the 1st one was good.

It's much better to cut back and not burn out, than it is to go full tilt all the time, and... well, burn out. And that principle goes for just about everything: school, athletics, webcomics, whatever.

So, relax, Tom. We're not going to criticize you for focusing on the real priorities, like schoolwork.

Agreed. School before all else, man. This is the age, and this is your chance...

If he did it twice a week, that would be fine. But sporadic might hurt. He's getting plenty of money through the comic. Though school work is very important. Espeicaly since he's in collge. If he cuts back, fine by me. I'll stay loyal. Now if only Tom would read this topic...

School takes precedence, Tom. He has to do well now, so that he can do well later. If he does well later, then he'll have more time. Buahaha. I'm dooming him to a life of writing twokinds...

Anyway, I'd much rather take less comics over a school-beat Tom.

I think Tom should do what he wants because it's all his business. HE wants to do the comic and no one here really has a say in it.

What do you mean most? Just about every single comic artist does! Thats a HUGE number of artists-- thats -- well honestly i cant think of many comic artists that dont have a schedual of some kind-- even Mac Hall has one "Sometime once a week" VG Cats- Monday - Dominic Deegan- Every day! Megatoyko- "Monday, Wed, Friday. unless i get angsty!" --

Honestly- i think Tom should go down to 2 a week-- we will see by the end of the week-- if he can get back on schedual this week my faith in his ability to keep up will come back :P -- if he cant-- really hes pushing himself too much-- and is getting further and further behind on the extra comics and wall papers he is suposed to be doing as well--- dont wanna have to remind him but he has like -- 2 or 3 wallpapers to make- and 4-5 EXTRA comics to draw... plus the picture of Karen and Raine making out...
