And is the shield in the Thorn hero pic really that bad? I knew he wouldn't look good with a sheild... he's just not a sheild-y person. And I'm glad wveryone likes the wings. They took longer to draw then the rest of Thorn. Blagh! Hand cramps from feathers...

And yup, the shield doesn't look that good.

Not sure if it's just the shield in general or the way the shield looks...or it's shape? But...I personally think it would have been better without. But again that's me.

Yeah...that gets really monotonous. And then if you ink or shade or color it...then you gotta do it all over again lol.

Yeah, I just colored in a picture of Mat last night. When I shade in colored pencil (only in colored pencil, I hate markers/crayons or digital mediums) I layer colors. Her wings had a layering of yellow, golden yellow, yellow-orange, and orange. The layers of feathers on her wings is four, I think, and about 100+ feathers to each wings. Ouch. Hand cramp! And that is why I never color in pics of Thorn. Six levels of feathers, and the first in red, the second is violet, repeating for all the levels, and each wing has about 150+ feathers. Yick.

I used to color with colored pencils...but it got annoying expensive. lol. Was more time consuming also. Granted I find it easier.....but that's probably because I'm still not entirely used to my tablet...somehow o.o

Thats why I stopped drawing. I feared the coloring and shading. I miss my charactatures. So can we expect to see the colored Matfur in the future?

yep. And a pic of my saber-tooth tigergirl looking very... Flora-ish. Kinda hard for Grana to look like her, being a murdering, omnipotent pyromaniac...
