This isn't about the forum but moreso about the IRC thing.

Every time I connect, I get an error message saying "that name is already in use" (even though it's not) "please pick another one"

Then after a few seconds, my name is changed to Guest#xxx. Then a few seconds after that, I'm booted. This happens every time and I've tried pretty much everything on the list. I can't even register any name for some reason.

Any ideas?

Well...first, what name are you using? I or someone else who spends half their lives on IRC might be able to tell you if it is indeed a registered nick.

Second, the ops for that chat are Maloo-MF9, Wholio (Bear), Blind, and Tom, as far as I can recall...so ya might want to pm one of them about it if they don't notice this post and reply. One of the other members might be able to help ya, too...but not me, most likely. Hope it gets sorted out, though...we always need more people in there keeping us (me) entertained. :D

I think it was the 11th that I first went into the chatroom and it was working fine. But since I logged on every time from the 12th it's been screwed.

Well...when you get booted, it says too many invalid passwords, in case you didn't see that. Try Issac_ or Zackie, or Izzie, or some such thing, if you haven't already. Someone might have registered your nick. Somebody was doing some mean stuff with a ghost thingie that I barely understood and messed up at least one person's nick last night.

Edit: Someone just said they did that. I'm trying to get her/him to release it now, but you can try a different nick in the meantime. :?
