You could make one! Yeah take one of your favorite comic- crop it out to the right size- maybe add a little boarder and some text-- instant avatar... pretty simple.

Ingrediants:

2 Bottles of Beer
A comic
Pants

...

On second thoughts, kill the pants; their evil!

Method:

1) Drink 1 Bottle of Beer
2) Bring up your comic in Paint, or some other Microsoft Demon
3) Delete Windows
4) Pour 1 Bottle of Beer down pants
5) Fall to sleep and dream of Avatar ingesting rather obsene items...like a nail clipper.

I make all my avatars with MS Paint. I dont have the money for photoshop.

I used Photoshop elements 3 for my current set. Just a bunch of cropping and a bit of text.

Paint can also be great when your bored. just make a pretty cool design and see if you can remake it on paint. that's how I made my avatars.

I think photoshop would be fine because that is what my Avatar is made from and google images

i use gimp. aha not windows :P i win. kill windows!

course if'n you wanted an animated gimp... well don't look at me, doing fancy stuff with a little text is about all i can do right now.
