I dunno, I might try it anyway. I don't have the taste for dating that I used to. Who knows, it might be good for a laugh.

I was eating skittles earlier and a few got stuck in my mustache. Want to taste the rainbow?

I've been trying to come up with one to use for Nuff's meme, and I think I finally got it. It's sure not to work!

"Hey, did you hear they're almost finished with the Large Hadron Collider? It's got a chance of creating a singularity and destroying the Earth, you know. Do you really want to spend what could be your last nights on Earth alone?"

XD I can't think of any corny pick-ups off the top of my head... I've got my own song and dance.

*lol* Dammit, I used to know some really corny ones from high school. Screw it, I'm looking one up.

Ooh, here's one:

"I hear there's 206 bones in the human body. Care for one more?"

Hold on, I recently posted a good one somewhere...
Found it!

Girl: Wow, you have a nice watch..!
Boy: Oh this? You have no idea. It also works as a phone and has it's own e-mail system.
Girl: Really!?
Boy: Yeah. It also tells me you aren't wearing panties.
Girl: ...But I am wearing panties.
Boy: You are? Then it must be a couple hours ahead.

Oh, wait, this is the "Shot down", isn't it?

Girl: Or maybe a couple years...

yes it is.

i remember asking a girl to go out with me, and she told me that she'd THINK about it! i never got an answer from her yet. this was almost 2 months ago, maybe longer.

word to the wise, NEVER let them say that they'll THINK about it

The line that worked on me:

He: Wanna go out Saturday?

me: Sure.

Simplicity itself.

It's the same buy different? XD

Shot down, shot down...

It's not amazing or hilarious, but its the only one I can really remember next to the first one I posted.

Me: What're you drinking?
Guy: Read the label.
Me: ...

How many of these lines have actually been used, anyway? >_>

They don't even have to be used solely for someone asking you out. Light flirting is enough. I used mine once and only once.

What fun that must've been

Why else would I have done it?

Women out there should know its a common game for military jerks to shoot down women in the most humorous way possible when out on a break. I was never very good at it, but some guys have it down to an art. It can be hilarious.

I've never used any quote-unquote pick-up lines before. I don't ever have the balls to try something that crazy, XD

I find it works better if you sit down next to someone, see if they return eye contact, and if they do, say "Hi" and make small-talk. See where it leads you, and while most of the time you're never going to go home with the guy, you do make some good bar friends and have a good time there.
