"It wasn't your duty to bring me here, unless you were ordered to?" Kenta asked as he sat up on the infirmary bed.
-------------------------------------------------
Saki and Ryozo finally reached the heart of the forest and they pushed deeper in, nearing their location.

"Well, The teacher said I probably should when I asked, so yeah." said Wynn. "He also said that as soon as you could get up and move, we needed to get back and finish our last match."

"Very well," Kenta said while standing up.
"If the professor orders it, then it will be done."
The two of them left the infirmary and headed back to the training grounds.

As they got back to the training area, Wynn walked over to a triumphant looking dragoon and the ranger looking down as if ashamed. "So I see you won. well I'm your opponent now, so don't think it'll happen again." Wynn said, grinning. He and the dragoon took their positions about 10 feet away from each other. 'So he's my opponent. heh, summoners are weak, but I'd better take out that familiar' thought the dragoon.

"Well good. Don't expect me to keep carrying you. Now, I have to go claim my reward. You stay right here until I come back. Don't go wandering around or the owner of this place will behead you," Aolo spoke strictly. She set off down stone street, and up to the large mansion, leaving Matthew alone. She entered the mansion without knocking on the door. She walked up the steps, and walked down the hall.

Saki pushed low hanging branches out of her way so she could navigate the forest more easily. "OK, we're nearly there so let's just stay on guard because you never know when we'll get attacked or by who."

Wynn saw his opponent attack him almost lazily with a lunge. "I'd say you're underestimating me" he said, ducking the spearing end, then knowing the lance's point into the air with both blades. "heh, very observant" the dragoon said sarcastically, lunging at him again.

Calder entered the back room, following the bouncing Pom Pom before him. They first came upon a small machine that Calder doubt he could fit in with all of his limbs. "This it?" he asked, earning a small hmph from Tsalri.

"Come on. You've seen that before. I use it to move stuff around," she sounded frustrated as Calder slowly came to the realization that it was, in fact, a working machine.

"Oh yeah... I remember now..." he said, looking down on the machine. It was basically just a seat and some control panels attached to some treads and two arms used to lift things. Smacking herself lightly on the forehead Tsalri continued to lead Calder to her new contraption.

She had lead him to a huge tarp draped over the large bulky frame of an unrefined machine. "Would you like the honors?" Tsalri asked, motioning towards the tarp. Sighing, Calder walked up, grabbed the cloth and yanked, revealing a menacing steel contraption. It stood a good 5 feet taller than the dragoon, who stepped back to take it all in. "Do you like it? It's supposed to help train people to take care of the bigger monsters. That Academy commissioned me to make it, seeing as it's safer than keeping actual monsters on campus." She started to ramble a bit on the technicalities and mechanics, most of which Calder couldn't understand if he even knew what most of the components were.

"Um... And you're planning on starting this up right now?" he asked, dumbfounded. Tsalri giggled.

"Don't worry. I know how dangerous it is to start something like this up in my own garage. I need you to help me deliver this to the Academy. Now help me get it onto it's cart you big silly."

After loading it up, and covering it once again with the tarp, Calder hooked up the Moogletron, as Tsalri affectionately called her little carrier, and rode off to the Academy.

((Hope you don't mind. And just so you know, that thing's gonna go berserk the second it's turned on. Have fun when that happens~))

((bump! >.<))

As Wynn continued to slash at close combat, he finally nicks the dragoon's cheek. "You shouldn't have done that" he said angrily.

..................................::Enemy Limit Break::........................................

"Swift Lance." he called. The lance rose without Wynn noticing, smacking him into the air. Then, with one hand, the dragoon, struck him with the spearing end repeatedly, the lance leaving after-images at its movement. Then after a while, the dragoon attacked with a flourish (fancy attack), sending Wynn flying a ways away, where he feebly stood back up. "That hurt." He said, holding his left arm, which had been torn up good.

Saki walked up next to Ryozo "So how much further is it now and who were we looking for again?"

(Sorry for lack of posting)

WARNING LONG POST

"Idiot, did you forget Saki?" Ryozo laughed sarcastically, "We're going to the Gallerian Magic Academy to speak with Archmage Van-Traven about recruitment."
"Recruitment, I though we were just asking for help?" Saki replied, looking slightly confused.
"Yeah we are, we're gonna take a few students on a test run and then we'll decide who to take with us."
"Okay, so how long till we get there?" She seemed less confused now.
"About.....three seconds." Ryozo quickly moved forward and pushed aside a curtain of branches, revealing a large, blue gate with various magic symbols etched into the wood. Either side of the gate were two white walls, about 30ft high. Ryozo glanced to the side as he heard Saki make a sound of amazement.
"This is nothing, watch." Ryozo pulled his gigantic blade off his back and jumped high into the air, towards the walls. He barely reached the top of the wall as he swung his blade down, it just sailing through mid-air. But after a few inches it stopped and electricity ran down it, into Ryozo's body.
Saki could see a dome like barrier had appeared and was protecting the academy from outside attack.

As Ryozo landed back on the ground he was panting, the electricity had lightly burnt his forearms.
"You didn't have to do that to impress me you know," Saki said, putting her hands on her hips.
"I know, I did it to get their attention," He nooded to the now open gate as he said this, six guards wearing long robes with a mythril breastplate ran at them, brandishing bladed battle staffs at them.
"State your business!" One of them shouted.
"I am Ryozo and this is Saki," Ryozo said, indicating himself and Saki in turn, "I would like to see the Archmage bec..."
"The Archmage is a very busy man!" The same guard interrupted.
"Okay then, I understand this but tell him "Judge Kane didn't kill all that night"" Ryozo said in a monotone voice, repeating his fathers last words.
"Very well," The guard replied, with a face of peace, "You may enter." The six guards moved aside and Ryozo and Saki walked past them, the magical gates closing behind them.

-------------------------------------------

Kenta rolled to the side, dodging the Ranger's arrow and pulling out his guns at the same time. He unleashed a barrage of bullets on his opponent and clipped her arms a few times. She fell to the floor, beaten and embarassed.
"Crap," She said over and over, tears forming around her eyes. Kenta put his guns away and bit his thumb, tasting the metallic taste in his mouth as blood flooded from his wound. He wiped it across his pendant and said, "Come!" His hammer appeared in his hand and jumped high into the air, bringing the hammer down on his opponent.

"Kenta, NO!!!" The teacher yelled as he moved in a flash underneath Kenta's weapon, holding it up with his own Claymore.
"Kenta, I order you to cease your attack!" The teacher shouted even louder as he struggled to hold the weapon up. Suddenly it disappeared and the teacher slumped to the ground, beside the defeated and frightened Ranger.
"You weren't really gonna kill her, right?" One of the students asked.
"I was ordered to fight, therefore, nothing less than death would've been saisfactory," He replied. He then turned and walked away, the crowd parting incase he turned on them.

Wynn's eyes flared. He was being looked down on, and that wasn't gonna end well. "Keep him busy, this may take a few seconds to start working." he told his familiar, which started attack the dragoon with a will (By that I just mean a flurry of attacks). Wynn then tore off a piece of his sleeve, tying it around his arm to stop the blood, and gripped both of his swords. He faced the points toward the ground and began drawing an elaborate rune. By the time he had finished drawing the symbol for the beast, however, the teacher called the class in and dismissed them. "Damn," he muttered, "next time I'll do that right away and he won't have time to think about thinking I'm weak. He'll be too busy with a friend of mine." Realising that he'd been walking a while, he looked around and saw Kenta. "So, was your fight eventful?" he asked, oblivious to what had happened. (his familiar had also kept the dragoon distracted enough that his eyes couldn't wander to the fight either, so the ranger filled him in after she had recovered from the shock)

Saki smiled "Well that was an easy way to get inside. And it's not my fault I forget things. It's your fault for not telling me everything you know."

"Nic comeback," Ryozo laughed. Being at the Academy somehow soothed him, here, he no longer acted like a complete outcast and as a regular teenage combatant trying to do something good in the world.
"Hey!!" Somebody called from behind. The two of them span around to see the guard from earilier running up to them. When he arrived he stopped and panted, the heavy armour clearly taking its toll. After he had regained his breath he stood up properly and spoke, "You two, I am to escort you to the Archmage's office."
"Okay, lead on," Ryozo said, stepping aside for the guard to pass them.

As they walked further into the complex, Ryozo noticed a class of what looked like seventh or eighth years walking in from one of the gardens. The one at the front was wearing a black piece of cloth over his face, hiding it from view. Ryozo stared at the cloth as the guy walked past them. Although clearly the guy couldn't see, Ryozo had the feeling that the guy had looked at him too. He shrugged his shoulders and carried on with Saki and the guard.

Seeing that Kenta hadn't responded, Wynn looks around. He then notices some people in front of him. "Any idea who they are? They don't look like teachers." he asked.
