BLAH! Today is the first day that I've gotten the entire summer just to sit down and do nothing and don't get me wrong, it was glorious! But today for some reason I have just been so hungry, i'm guessing its because I have the time to cook for myself. So I figure, I'll make myself a sandwich. So I go to get the turkey, mold all over it -_-. So I think, alright, I'll make myself some grilled cheese, can't, mold all over the bread...okay...I saw a chunk of colby jack in there, I think I'll just cut myself a slice of that. Can't mold all over that. DOESN'T ANYONE BUT ME CHECK THE EXPERATION DATES!? AND WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME THAT CLEANS OUT THE FRIDGE AND DRAWERS?!

Well if you have moldy cheese, you can just cut the mold off and eat the rest. In Wisconsin, if you waste cheese it's punishable by death.

What sucks is when you're the one that has to clean it though.

I found a Tupperware container in my fridge. Month-old refried beans. Covered in the fun fuzz. I nearly puked when I smelled it...

Which is why I'm glad I don't have a part-time job working at McDonald's.

There's one of my reasons for not wanting to work at a restaurant of any kind. If did I know I would be the one forced to do dishes all the time, and seeing as I have washed dishes in my own house since I was thirteen I'm not too eager on going back to doing so.

On the topic of mold, yes, it is not wise to leave food and/or drinks in the fridge past their expiration date. It's bad enough just seeing the color, but taking an unexpected whiff any product with mold on it can kill.

It just seems like if I'm not on top of it the entire kitchen goes to hell. As for the mold thing, you have to be careful with it. Curtain kinds of molds if digested or come into contact with skin it causes skin eating rashes and deseases. Moldy bread can do that.
