Btw, the fact that he just had a dagger in his shoulder seems not to bother him so much...

Well, he was a Templar, so he's probably used to pain, at some level.

Yeah, but blocking a swordstrike, caused by a totally healthy and trained assassin, with his wounded arm? And fighting another one at the same time?

He uses magic, if not instinctively, then intuitivley. He's probably using a smal amount of the mana he's getting to strengthen his arm. He was the top Templar, remember.

Anyhoo, I knew Flora would save the day ;) Trace can be how badass he wants, he still can't defeat two healthe assasins single-handed :P

I think she was cuter in that hunt/kill form than in today's.

BTW, this is kind of an unnecessary thing, but are Floras breasts bigger in the beginning of the comic?
