Dawn, it was daybreak outside a large patch of forest that surrounded a great deal of land. On the outskirts of the city limits, and hidden away from the world, a small town that hasn't been marked, or even remembered by historians.

James, Tobias, Akira, and Rex finally find thier way out of the forest by the beatan forest road. From the hill they stood atop of the villaged looked like a good place to stay and rest thier weary feet for a little while. It looked as though it has been built during the settlements of the colonists that first came. It looks well kept, and furnished as well. Also up to date, with street lights going around the village, so electricity must run through it. A water pump to the side of it showing that it even has plumbing.

Just east of the village was where it must have been getting its revenue, farms. Large wheat farms, and they were bustling with crops. A silo, and barn were placed close to eachother. On the other side of the field was the home where the farmer lived.

The four stand upon the hill, and they prepare themselves. Standing at the gates, the road leads up to the center courtyard. The name of the village though, it couldn't be read, the sign was in disrepair.

"Man this village gives me the creeps, why did we come here?" Tobias asked turning to the others.

OOC: Sorry if it is too short my others in this one will be longer

"Would you rather sleep in the woods?" Rex asked, though he was getting the same feeling. His cat, Zeak, also sensed something wrong. The fur on his back was standing on end, and his tail was standing straight up. Rex picked up his cat and tried to calm him down.

James pulled out his cigarette -his *last* cigarette- and figured there'd be some kind of tobacco there.

"Nice place," he mumbled. The dark gave a relatively nice feeling to it, even as it faded away.

I wonder if they have any jobs open...to be honest, my life's sucked before this.

"Well, gentlemen, here we are. They should have some kind of communication. We moving?"

There was a short pause before the reply.

"You guys go ahead. I'll wait for the little guy to fall asleep before continuing. He'll be easier to carry." Rex replyed, rubbing the cat's belly.

OOC: Hey guys, how could you know its creepy even before you've entered the place? :P Just sayin'.


IC: A sound echoes through out the entire village, and it becons you to enter. It seems so very alluring. As if it were angles singing for you, begging for you to grace its presence.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Stupid voice in my head." Rex muttered.

Akira somehow felt verry comfortable for once as he entered the village. He could finaly rest for once. "so we are gonna stop here for how long?" Akira asked with uttur curiosity in his eyes and voice.

The cat had finally fallen asleep in Rex's arms. Rex lifted him, being careful not to wake him. He followed the other's footprints, and finally caught up with them.

Tobias suddleny felt very comfortable in the town but it still dident make him feel aney more at ease."I think we should find the inn guyes." tobias said as he looked around the town.

"There!" Rex pointed to a building with a sign that had a picture of a house on it.

"We are staying there no?" Akira asked in wonder. He shrugged andwaited for someone else to confirm.

"Yes. That's the inn." Rex picked up his cat and walked towards it.

Akira started feeling verry strange now. 'First we are lost and are verry tied but then suddenly there is a nice town with some place to stay.' Akira started to fiddle with his USP's holster as he walked in with Rex.

Rex walked up to the bar. There was no one there. odd he thought. He walked behind the counter and picked up a bottle of beer. He opened it and downed it in one gulp. He tossed another bottle to Akira.
