I can no longer listen to much music. Flobots ruined it for me. Music not preaching at me has lost some interest ;_;! Why did they have to mix music with political messages?

Any suggestings for like bands?

*Fails for not knowing what flobots are*

All of the old Genesis stuff with Peter Gabriel is good for me. Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M. and Jethro Tull are my favorites.
I *think* this answers the question. :?

Look up "I can ride my bike with no handlebars." I'm not sure about the name, its probably just "Handlebars".

hmm..... if your looking for messages in the music, try Linkin Park's "What I've Done" but be sure to see it with the music video.

No no, they rock. I agree. Too much. Now I have trouble listening to things without political messages mixed in x_x

Meh, I usually prefer music that isn't filled with political messages...

Anyhow, if you like punk, look up Bad Religion. Virtually all of their songs have political messages, but they're also terrific punk songs. Some of the ones that I disagree with the most are my favorites to listen to (like "Kyoto Now"), just because they sound fantastic.
