Okay, here's an interest check for an RP I may start (depending on how many people show interest) loosely based on the story I'm trying to turn into a book (yes, same one as the Strear preview in the storyboard). Anyway, if enough people do show interest then I'll start this in a while, but only in a while do to the huge amount of awesome RP's already in progress, because this RP sorta requires alot of people to sign up for it. Here's the info:

Setting: Rasorta, a world that exists in death, yet is not tezen (hell) or kralan (heaven... kinda). This world is where a few dead slip through inbetween tezen and kralan and live as if they weren't dead. The planet is much different from earth, and has earned the nickname of rubix world, because the environment of the entire planet is mix-matched, with at some parts one square mile of hot, dry desert surrounded on all sides by freezing glaciers. Not even at the border of the desert and glaciers would the two climates affect each other. One inch from the edge, there is no sand on the glaciers, and no snow on the sand. It's as if the planet is a jumble of different climates that changes randomly and suddenly, but acts as if those climates are miles from each other. In one day, someone could go through several deserts, many forests, dozens of blizzards, and near-infinite grassy fields. The planet also has natural inhabitants, normal people with whom the dead fit right in. There are three major groups, or civilizations, on Rasorta. Each is led by a semi-god (not a demi-god, but a semi-god) who acts as mayor-until-death for the group. The first is the Grantzo, who posess a low level of technology (no electricity) and are very peaceable. The next are the Krillow, moderate level of technology and war-mongerers. Then there are the Drestyo, high level of technology and keep to themselves, neither helping anyone nor hurting anyone. That's pretty much it for the setting, say if you have any questions.

Story: Some of the... "residents" have broken out of tezen, and escaped to Rasorta. The leader of tezen, Trandinium Marl, considered dragging them back, but in the end decided that by escaping, they had just chosen permanent death, what happens to the dead when they die. Needing some entertainment, Marl decided to make a game out of it, orchestrating the deaths of some people on earth and putting them on Rasorta, also grating them half a life each. These people have no idea where they are, only that they're told to kill the escapees and if they kill enough, they will be returned to earth.

Here are the character types you can be:
Suus Damno: His Damned, in latin. They have been killed by Marl on earth so that they can be sent to Rasorta to hunt the escapees (pretereo, which is loosely 'escapee' in latin). Each Suus Damno has a weapon, which while weak at the beginning can grow into more powerful weapons as time goes on (for example, Strear has a pistol, but eventually it will be able to change between pistol and shotgun). They also have no memory of who they were, though they retain everything they knew about earth that does not relate to them. When they wake up in Rasorta they hear Marl's voice in their head, telling them their job.

Pretereo: escapee in latin, loosely. These are the escapees from tezen that are roaming Rasorta. They are hard to mistake, as the transfer from tezen to Rasorta has tainted them with Rasorta's power. Although they do differ in appearance, one constant is that their whole body is covered in grey wrapping, slightly resembling a mummy's wrappings, though much darker in color and not decrepit-looking. Each also has a weapon created from tezen's dark powers, as well as several abilities from said powers. They are hunted by the Suus Damno, and a battle between a Pretereo and a Damno is an awesome sight to behold.

Resident/deceased: the inhabitants of the planet who posess no abilities, these are just the typical folk of Rasorta, along with the deceased who find their way over.

Semi-gods: only three will be allowed, each the leader of one of the major groups of Rasorta. They possess incredible abilities and powers.

So.... if anyone has any questions, suggestions, or criticism, then post away!

I'd like to be a Suus Damnos if this gets off the ground.

Hmm... It sounds interesting, but I won't be joining. Joining too many RPs just kills my motivation.

But, I see you doing this a lot, you use Latin to name EVERYTHING. Even characters. Try looking up some baby names with meanings so that you can have a normal named character.

And Pretereo is the first person form of the verb preterire, meaning to pass by, or not be noticed. If you wanted to use it as an adjective, you'd need to use the transitive form of the word. preteritum erat - having passed by

effugitum erat - having escaped

Sorry, but you're use of Latin has been bugging my inner Latin nerd for a while now. I'll shut up now.

I'm just using a latin translator, mostly because almost no one uses real names in an RP unless the RP calls for it, and whenever I make up names I end up with crap like "Drisk Kayne", "Strear", or "Trandinium Marl" I mean come on, Trandinium-friggin-Marl.

*note that killroy has gotten past first year*
Yeah, what he said.
*goes and tries to find his textbook*

And just try the Seventh Sanctum quick character namer, combine whatever parts you like for normal sounding names. Some of their other stuff led to the creation of the character Paul Landless. Barkeep-Seer was just to good to drop.

please learn cojugation and declining before continuing with random bouts of latin.

Oooh, wouldn't mind being a semi-god.

The battles sound fun. I would like to join. :)

This sound pretty interesting. I'd be in for it as one of the Pretereo, or whatever they're called.

because of some complaints I've been recieving, the names of the character typs may change, but the rest will most likely stay the same. I'm sorta surprised no one's picked "I call semi-god" yet.
