Aight, listen up here for a moment please. There is something I must know, because it is bothering me. A lot. More than usuall right now.

Am I really... I mean REALLY... The only one who likes old Trace better than new Trace, and would like to see a comeback from him? And I'm talking about ANY kind of comeback! Temporary control over Trace, maybe plauging his mind, anything! Full controll would be the dream come true!
I mean, come on! So far, I've not met one person here who shares my oppinion! There has to be SOMEONE! Right?!

This thread is the result of me being tired, frustrated and unusually aggressive. So please, be nice if you disagree with me in any way. Or I'm not really sure of what I will do to help myself. Probably run outside and scream out my berserker rage. That actually sounds pretty good right now.

Gahhhh, my hip. Football is bad for you. :x

I don't realy like a return or a temporary takeover (reminds me of Ichigo off of Bleach.) but maybe a melding of old's power and new's personality, or even a melding off all of it. I just don't like the evil "destroy all" attitude Trace

But that's exactely why I love him! Because of the "humans shall rule everything, no matter how or for what cost" attitude!

Yes, but, what's a good web-comic without some lovey-dovey?

Sithil, you need to ask yourself why you like destructive Trace better.
There may be a way for you to have your cake and eat it too.

I'd like to see a more assertive and confident Trace, but not a callous, murderous, and uncaring Trace.

Tired Keldoth say no one else wants it because it would mean the end of many people's favorite characters and relationships, leaving only Trace and those who work with him.
Tired Keldoth say it would be boring.
He wishes to sleep now, but he has to change time zones, and that would mess with his head.

If bad evil-death-destruction-chaos-pwnage Trace takes over completely, there would be no interesting internal struggle. Plus, I think Flora is awesome, and I like their relationship, so I wouldn't want to see something happen that would totally ruin it. I have a feeling that Trace isn't going to be totally himself after the Basitans / Templars get through with him, but hopefully he'll cornily come to accept something or other, and he'll actually become a real person, instead of the wimpy guy he is. Ne?

I think I will have to rephrase myself. When I mean full controll, I mean a controll that was supposed to last for longer than a few minutes. Actually, forever. Only Flora brings Trace back with their strong and eternal love, and all that yadayadayada stuff. I just want old Trace back, if only for a few strips! Because he is, without doubt or hesitation, my favorite character!

And my question is; Am I alone!? Probably, but I can live with it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Trace go beserk and rip asunder all the towers in one massive show of total ownage, but to me, it'd be even better if he were totally sane when he does this, just in a "not gonna take anymore of this." ticked off mood.

The Momma that rains down wooden spoon consequences is the same Momma that sings lullabyes, just providing necessary corrections.

I don't like Trace to begin with. The guy flops around like he was dropped on his head as a child. :|

Personally its his power I find enjoyable, his actions though are give and take. Being in the new roman empire I sure do enjoy my bloodletting but there is a limit

But I'm partial to powerful casters that can prove it :D~

Maybe evil trace is really a daemon, like Asmyius here.
Greetings.

Honestly I think the old Trace is a much more dynamic character. I find it interesting that such a twisted and powerful person can be granted a literal blank slate, and I anticipate how Trace comes to terms with his former self. But perhaps somethings are best left forgotten...
