Incredible Coniectura

A work-in-progress comic, Incredible Coniectura is about a brother, sister, and robot, all with different perceptions of the world around them. Set a century in the future, mankind has come a long way in a short time, but many things have yet to be improved.. Incredible Coniectura shows how dreams can change the world, and how much trouble 2 twins and a robot can get into in one day.

Its updated around 2-3 times a week. And if youre complaining: its to short! borinnggg!, it just began today. Also, i might come back and re-do the prologue when i have time in the future.

Post comments here, or on the site, thx :P

(note: I drew the second comic at like, 5 am. i was so tired.)

Ooo, this wouldn't happen to have been done with MS Paint, would it?

no, paint.net and adobe fireworks. Its when i scan it in and have to colour everything in with the mouse that ruins it. Hopefully it'll be better once i get a tablet.

Start Sage Mode

As interesting and suspenseful as the prologue is, I think at this stage it wouldn't do very well as a webcomic, as many things about your art need improvement.
It may be designed to be cartoony, and that's fine, but as butterball said, it looks like it was drawn in MS paint. Let's take a look at the cover:

The body is far too long for the legs, the people appear to have no noses and their feet seem to be a bit out. Overall, they just look a little flat.

I would work on your art skill before attempting a webcomic, but that doesn't mean you don't have potential.

End Sage Mode

Gah! Spelling errors!

Are the character personalities derived from Invader Zim at all? I can't help but think of the quarrels between Dib and Gaz reading their descriptions and witnessing their interactions thus far. Is the Robot going to be like GIR?

To get anyone to read at the beginning, you have to have good art. If you have a lot more in the archive, and the current art is acceptable, people will forgive the bad stuff at the beginning. I personally don't read comics unless they have at least 50-100 comics under their belt. The few that have less all have good art, and I will either stop or continue reading depending on how the story develops.

As of now, I have no reason to keep reading. At all.

Your people look like nondescripts blobs with shirts and some strange thing on their head. The robot looks like it's made of legos. That's not a good thing unless it's supposed to.

If your art is... not right... You need to have a good story to keep people long enough for you to improve. As it is, your story is... You DO have a story right? I can't tell! You need to wait until you have a good number built up before promoting your comic. Even if you have good art.

Ok, so im a sucky artist, but i know what i like to see in a webcomic. I would recommend looking at the most popular comics on Smackjeeves. Some of them have very bad "seen it a million times" story lines, but their art easily makes up for it. I would practice ALOT more with your art, and then try and redo the comic...I'm sorry, im really not very good at criticizing...but truth be told, the story does attract my attention a bit
